Paris Kid’s and Kigurumi
Saturday, 9月/20日 [2008年] // 40 Comments
I’ve been busy with errands all day mostly. So many things I still want to get done too
One being putting up a bunch of my new accessories from my trip! My vanity is overflowing with STUFF and I can’t find anything in that mess. So after this I’ll be off trying to find a place for each of my new treasures
Here’s some photos of things I got! First off this is my favorite necklace

from Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose @ Shibuya109

I also went to Harajuku to Paris Kid’s and bought a bunch of super cute hair ties and necklaces!! LOVED that store! So fantastic if you’re into macaron inspired goods [which I completely am!]

OK, kigurumi photos! Probably some of the more embarrassing (?LOL
) photos I’ll ever post of myself, hahaha :girlgomen:
着ぐるみ used to be seen roaming the streets during the style years of manba and such in the early 2000’s. Now they are mainly used for relaxing at home, like pajamas, after a long day of work. Haha, CUTE TIME! You often see models donning these cute pajama/costumes whenever a “room profile” is done on them. Example Pinky & Egg (Egg scan from kuuchuu.net)

us at チャペル アニヴェルセル
This is a photo of us at the Anniversaire Chapel in Omotesando. This is the chapel my friend got married at about 2 years ago!
It’s so lovely! We sort of sneaked to the back of the Anniversaire place to get to the chapel. It was lovely to see her describe her big wedding day and being able to actually see it with my own eyes & not just through photos now

Ah, Rilakkuma! How cute :3
I’ve always wanted a kigurumi for Halloween or something. How much was it when you bought it?
September 20, 2008 @ 8:40 pm
He was 4,990¥ because he was one of the brand or popular characters. But the more generic kigurumi like cats, cows, hamsters were as low as 30$ (2,990¥ to be exact) with most other characters being 3,990¥ at the Don Quixote store in Shinjuku!

September 21, 2008 @ 4:04 pm
The kigurumi outfit is tres cool and quirky (how would I explain that purchase to my BF?) Bahahaha. The shopping pics really make me wanna jet to Japan. Speaking of shopping, I picked up Sept. issues of Non-no and Vivi and blogged (check Monday) about the makeup campaigns I’ve been seeing inside. Kanebo Kate’s campaign is goooorgeous.
September 21, 2008 @ 4:24 pm
OMG I want a kigurumi pj! It looks really fun to wear around the house. But definitely not outside…a bit too much explaining to do.
September 21, 2008 @ 4:57 pm

Haia, I just discovered your blog, everything is so cute awww! Congrats on being married and going to Japan, I’m jealous haha. Not at the married part [it’s just not for me] but ohhhh kigurumi, I still plan to make one myself. It’s just so hard to find patterns! And to settle on a character, but I might just go with my own original character. Haha. They just look so cooomfy!
Hope to read lots more cute updates! xo
