Back from Florida

Monday, 12月/1日 [2008年] // 35 Comments

I haven’t much to blog about except that I drove [durrr, rode] 16 hours to & from Florida for Thanksgiving. I got a bunch of stuff on Black Friday! Mostly gifts for family then some clothes. !@#$! note to self, “BUY ALL WINTER CLOTHES IN FLORIDA!” That shit is super cheap because no one buys it because no one needs it! I was wearing shorts & flip flops once again~~ But yea, I got sweater dresses for 13$!! I plan to take some photos soon but I just haven’t had time.

Here are some random photos~

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving was good! Mine could have been better, but what can ya do~~

Wish I had more to talk about. I’m so tired really & work is draining what little energy I have…

I need to post my Animal Crossing friend code. Mike got Rock Band 2. Been playing with him. I sing or play bass. Hahaha

Black Friday wasn’t all that great here in NYC, but it’s a good thing you had a good Black friday. Sorry to hear about your Thanksgiving. But hopefully your Christmas will be better, right? The squirrel is cute.

    My bf makes me sing on rockband. Sometimes I play drums but I suuucckkk. ;_;

    whoa.16 HOURS!?!?!?1 i could have died.

cute pictures, i love the house. there’s a street somewhere in a city in my country, famous for the houses that yearly exaggerate on christmas decorations.it’s practically a tourist spot for foreigners and locals alike.every year the local media covers them (yuk yuk, free advertising) because despite the financial crisis that everyone experiences, they still have the money to spend on electric bills that (according to my sources) weigh up to a whopping million bucks!

Ouch 16 hours? Was it also possible to take a plane or? Lol living in The Netherlands is pretty easy if your start in the North and head South it takes … hmmm 4 hours or so. Even though your Thanksgiving could have been better, I still hope you had a nice time We don’t even celebrate Thanksgiving over here ~ Congrats on your shopping items!

Rodents! And man I hate long car rides. I often get car sick. And I have to ride in the front so I can’t sleep.

Ugh, a 16 hour total trip?! Bleeeh. At least you went shopping on Friday, though.

    WHOA! $13?! That’s a crazy good deal…

Hopefully you get an off-day soon. It really stinks when work runs you into the ground…

Lol, It was cold on Black Friday… At least here in Orlando it was. Lol… I didn’t realize that winter clothes were really expensive up north! Haha, I’ve never shopped for clothes while up there before. :3

But, I do wear flip flops everyday… Even when it is cold. xD

I love Animal Crossing though. I got it last week!

&& ROCK BAND is so much fun. I usually play bass too, but i would never sing. . . unless i was really mad at the people around me & wanted to burst their ears 笑

ha-haaa~ that xmas house just makes me smile, all the time and effort put into that…

Black Friday doesn’t exist here but I wish it did. Apple store tried it but only knocked a few measly pounds of their products (and I don’t believe many people knew at all, maybe just staff and staff-wannabes like me XD). Yeah nobody’s gonna queue in the early morning for an iPOD which is only £6 less than yesterday!

    It’s always your place Jen!
I’m gonna get those shoes! Double decker sell them cheapest but were sold out completely and wont restock till next year. I felt so betrayed because I was even prepared to get a size too small and go really OTT by ignoring their 2 for one deal and getting,..well 3 different shoes. I don’t know why they come out with these free shipping deals when they’re so extremely sold out! It makes me so angry, it was the second time I could buy anything too!

I’ll have to get them from this ebay shop, they’ll be in my size but not as good quality or even real wood soles… it’s disappointing (and they cost more than the double decker ones wtf!)

Glad you were able to do some shopping!!! Hehe… true… clothes and items in smaller states are usually so cheap…

    Cute pictures!!

Your new camera takes amazing pictures full of vibrant colors! *so jealous*

Hahaha! Florida, Texas, California, New Mexico, etc. should all have cheap winter clothes!!! It’s also not fair that all us cold states have expensive winter AND summer clothes ;-:

16 hours?! My god, I would seriously die! D: Oh man, you Americans… I want your sales, your cheapness compared to Australian stuff and your shops open past 6pm

Bwahaha I am always surprised at the prices of winter wear here =P Considering I have to buy a bunch of coats soon I’m happy XD

It’s true - some days you can get away with just a regular old t-shirt.
