Not on Hiatus… I was in Limbo

Surprisingly, this is hard. Updating this blog. I dunno why, it doesn’t feel natural anymore to pour out my daily ramblings & emotions here. I think it’s just because I’ve been going through some stuff lately. I’m not really sure how to describe it. You’d have to really know me to kinda “see” what I’m going through & my moods. ANYWAY~ enough depressing BS right? I got a new KITTY! LOOK!

OKay, OKay, It’s not a REAL cat. I bought it at the University Bookstore. It’s from Blue-Q and is called Flat Cat. My friends saw it last night,… they weren’t too surprised. They already knew I was crazy. hahaha. It makes me smile!

I have a lot more to share, but I’m cooking dinner for ONE right now. I’m just STARVED!

As for the past few weeks. Let’s see, I’ve been really busy with school and work and starting on getting graduation stuff together for next August. Here’s an example of what my past few weeks have been like:

SCENE: discount store, checking out,
CHARACTERS: Jen, Mike, Checkout Lady,

DIALOGE:
MIKE: We can go checkout over there.
**Jen & Mike Approach checkout counter**
CHECKOUT LADY: (snobby voice) Are you trying to start a new trend or something?
JEN: **bewildered look** Excuse me?
CHECKOUT LADY: Ugh, skirt over pants?! You trying to start a trend with that!
JEN: **still confused at rude remark** Um, no.
**uncomfortable silence for rest of transaction**

For some unknown reason, complete strangers have been saying the rudest things to me, TO MY FACE. That skirt thing was just the last example of the past week. Usually that junk NEVER bothers me. But I’ve been looping in & out of happiness lately and so I was more vulnerable to her rudeness. I’m over it, but at the time…. I thought she was a complete BITCH. Now, I know, she can’t understand fashion outside of skanky mid-drift tops and jeans. anywhoo~

My lower left wisdom tooth (number 3) is coming in. It broke through the gums last night. I’ll be needing to get all 4 cut out by Christmas. It doesn’t really hurt my mouth as much as it hurts my head (headache.)

Mike’s back is hurting him terribly. We are doing all we can to fix it. It’s been hurting for a month now. He’s trying to get insurance through his job so he can afford to go get his back x-rayed. This story goes much deeper than this with lots of fundamentals that I won’t get into.

I’m pretty tired today and I need to get to some letter writing that is badly needed . I hope I’ll start blogging more readily now. And visiting too of course! I still browse all your bloggies, I just don’t always comment cuz sometimes I’m at work, he.

   Hey, I feel you on the skirt thing. When I was visiting my aunt at the beach people would come up to me and ask me what the hell I was wearing and basically they thought I had no sense of style whatsoever and my aunt thought I was nuts lol.

   I know what you mean. It doesn’t feel natural to blog. You just do it. Plus with all this shit going on you’re not very sure it should be written about, especially online. If I were to write about everything, you’d think I’m the most random and bipolar person ever. Anyways, love, it will all turn out great in the end.

   aww, don’t let mean people get you down… usually the people who feel the need to say mean things do so because they’re jealous or insecure.. i personally like jeans + skirts

   can Mike get insurance through your university for being a student? I know mine offers it, and if not there might be some kind of state-funded insurance for low-income people that he could qualify for… my aunt works for my state’s govt doing low-income housing & I think she said that low income can qualify for medical assistance here, but every state is different,

I was thinking, “it’s a bit stiff, eh?” Lol, and it poses the same. o_O! That lady was extremely rude! I’d probably snap back with ” What’s with your face? It’s not Halloween yet.” xD! It’s cos I’m spiteful and vengeful. ACK. Wisdom teeth. ; I’m terrified of those, especially since I’ll be getting 4 extractions just for teeth I have now (my upper and lower bicuspids.) All for the perfect smile… What happens when you keep wisdom teeth in? o_o Like, what did people in the past do with them?
