Happy December!!

It’s December, and I’m already done “Christmas Shopping!!” The “get out & shop” part. Just 2 things left to order online 
! Every year we say “let’s finish early,” but we never do. But this year we can avoid the malls all December 
!
Let’s see, what have I been up to~~ Work… and sleep. Mostly. Been busy at work and so I come home so tired. I’m getting ready to leave in about 2 weeks for my family in Mississippi 
. I’ll be there for a few days. Solo so I’ll probably be really bored. My family tends to just ignore me while I visit even though they beg & beg me to come and see them more often 
. ANYWAY. I’ll just be busy taking pictures and hopefully playing with their cats 
. I bought a new, big purse mainly so I can use it as carry on but NOT have to put it in the overhead compartment, hahahah. Big purses are cute & in anyway now so win-win! Nothing special really.
I went to the Japanese bookstore Wednesday (and then again today because I’m a loser stalker weirdo obsessive person or something, hahahaha! 
) 
This is were I’m just gonna blab about fashion/magazine crap so feel free to ignore if you’re not into this stuff 
I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again! Ray gives some of the best gifts! This issue’s was a DVD of hair tutorials!

I was planning to be bitchy & complain about how I don’t particularly care for this one new-ish model in Non-no b/c she lacks personal style and has no more than 2 facial expressions… but I’ll spare you! Hahaah Instead, let’s focus on something positive [and other models!] First off, They keep pairing up Miyu & Ikumi which I ADORE!!!
Rinka’s Happy Diary was quite lovely, as always!!
And apparently (non-Non-no related news) Miho landed a gig as the face of a Christmas album of “International” (cough basically US & UK!) hits this season!! 
No surprise since she used to do that Music On! or whatever show

Apparently, Fiona Apple is on it singing Frosty the Snowman… When the hell did she do Xmas songs and Whhhhhy?!?! AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH It just stood out to me for some reason

While you’ve nearly finished your Christmas shopping.. I haven’t even started! I wanted to begin tomorrow with my little sister but nope we’re both busy.. and our schedules are different for the rest of the week =__=;; I really like your new big purse; I’ve been wanting one for a while because I’ve had this same bag for like 4 years :p

Waa the Ray DVD looks good!! It’s so nice then cuz you can actually see what you’re supposed to do not see what you’re suppose to get.. if you get what I mean

I’m almost done with xmas shopping too, not much to do, but I still have to make one thing and get one thing
It’s nice to be done early, but I’m really late this year. No time 
And that purse is nice, they work good for all your big fat schoolbooks too!

Lol, I like haven’t done any shopping yet at all.
But, that is a really cute purse
. And I’m amazed you can watch the DVD since Japanese and American DVD players are done differently and aren’t be interchangeable… Lucky you.

oh god, as soon as I got paid, other than buying myself a couple things, I have been looking for other people and it’s so hard to find stuff for guys that isn’t clothing or really expensive electronics! ;_;
(Do chocolates work for guys like they work for girls? XD)

I haven’t even started shopping for Christmas! And probably not anytime soon either! So good job to you!! It must feel nice to have it mostly finish and soon to be out of the way.

Christmas shoppping….it seems like I always miss it because midterms ALWAYS gets in the way -.- I bet you feel great about getting it done early!

Congratulations on finishing the shopping already. I was doing great… then ran out of funds! Now I have to wait for a job until I can complete it all, but only a few things left to buy now so it’s not too bad.
How come Mike isn’t going with you to your family? I hope it isn’t too much boredom for you. Families can be very strange things.

I have started a little of my Christmas shopping. Not all of it but I don’t think I’ll be rushed this year unless I run out of money or something.
I love all the magazines you got, I wish there was a Japanese bookstore here, I have to buy all my magazines online. I’d kill for two in particular right now but I have to wait

ps. do they carry other magazines at that Japanese book store?? I need to get my butt there and have a looksie~~ I usually buy EGG, Ranzuki, Jelly, and Scawaii every month online, would be better to just pick it up at the store! LOL

HERRO! I need a break so I thought I’d respond to some comments

First off, Miya, they have SCawaii there monthly, but not the others. Right now their selection is more OL & pre-teen (and adult xxx) but not much Pop. The most Pop they have are SCawaii, Vivi, and a few others, but rarely any gyaru mags
. Once there was a left over Egg though! MY LUCKY DAY! (Though you can get a subscription from them for ANY MAGAZINE you’d like.)

Well, I’m going solo to visit my parents for a few reasons. Mainly we only bought 1 ticket in July b/c we thought we’d be moving in around now & Mike was gonna stay home to take care of things. Second, If he came to see my family, HIS family would feel very hurt if we didn’t visit them as well and so that’s A LOT of extra time & money we would have to spend. So, cheap, easiest solution, I go solo. I’m fine with it. haven’t spent alone time with my family in about 4 years anyway.

Sara, yup, chocolate can work for guys esp. if you know they like something specific! Mike likes these mint & dark chocolate squares from Godiva so I can get those for him without worry! But I don’t think I’d ever buy him just a random box of chocolates

Yeah I lovee blue eye shadows now… before I thought they make some girls look like whores but I guess it also depends on the shade of blue (eg. not frosty light blue!!).
