Christmas Lights

Last night we decided that since we had nothing planned that we’d go to Baltimore on a whim to hang out and see the 34th Street Christmas Lights! We’ve seen them on Christmas Lights TV Specials and thought, why not.

Ooh lots of pretty Christmas lights! I put up a few around our house earlier this week. Doesn’t look as cool as those though! =P

Ah, wow. There are a few streets where I am from that decorate a lot for the holidays. It’s called Candy Cane Lane, creative I know.. I adore simple white lights. Hehe, there is a show on HGTV, ‘What’s with that Decked out Christmas House?’ all about how crazy people can go

That’s so pretty! It’s so nice to take a road trip. I was in Baltimore, too, yesterday — the Restoration Hardware warehouse has a sale the first weekend of every month and I was helping my brother pick out a dining table. Didn’t get to see any lights though

Wow, the displays are gorgeous. We have some thing like that here. The houses in the Historical Home District always get free electricity this time of year because they all do light displays: nativity scenes, candy cane lanes, Frosty the Snow man, etc.
And then a block up, they light up this huge 200ft pine tree in the old town square where the city well used to stand when the town was first founded.

    So awesome. :]

    Holiday nights!

Have you done the holiday lights at Symphony of Lights at Columbia?
    That’s always pretty.

It’s so cold. :O Hope you had lots of fun… in the snow.

Wow pretty! Aw you’re so lucky you get to do cool stuff with Mike. Gael needs a job that doesn’t make him work all night so we can do cool stuff like that, too. *sigh*

Oh well, now that’s really something. All those lights. Hope they don’t get a blackout.

Yeah, all the neighbors that I’ve seen, they never work together and all just do their own thing….

When I hear Baltimore I think of Sleepless in Seattle, haha~ I love that movie!

Anyway, the lights are so pretty. Last year I went to see some lights and the effort people put in making their house pretty is huge! I never fail to gasp at the blinking lights and the moving Santas.
