Camera Props

Sitting here with my cheek in palm, I’m not sure what to say. I have so much to say, but it all just seems like it would be white noise. I guess I’m a bit out of sorts. I had a good day. I was happy. I’m not unhappy right now either. I’m in limbo. Yes, that must be it.
Waiting for so many amazing things to finally happen.
anyway *subject change*
More and more film cameras keep creeping up into Japanese Fashion magazines as fun & unique props…
Of course I get giddy when I see them! Especially the one (below) where EMI has a fisheye (1) camera in her 14 day outfit spread. It’s from ‘06 I think, Mina.
And then there’s CanCam who gave their models a Polaroid SX-70 to take photos for their diary page. Here are a few examples

Cute scans. I need to get back into loving film cameras. I grew out when I got a really good digital camera and now I miss film!
By the way, I’m glad you posted the scan for that omurice recipe! I think I’ll give that a shot this week.

ah~ i wanted to buy the fisheye camera from urban outfitters so badly when i saw it in seattle… they’re so cute! it kind of bugs me that they pose and the cameras are just props… i want them to actually use it!

Well at least you have time to relax today, that’s always good.
; I have to agree with the magazines, cameras are cute and fun!

limbo; gah that’s a weird feeling. just as weird when you’re so used to blocking out emotions that you don’t know what you’re feeling anymore.

GAA!! I STILL want a damn Polaroid. They’re so convenient when you want to give someone a photo on-the-fly…like when they’re leaving for another state ;A;
Making their comebacks…oh how the world goes round and round…
I spose I feel the same way about limbo…but I also have to clean Zilla while there ;A; NOTFUN.
Back to cams: Do you aim with the viewfinderballthing?!! Or do you aim the lens itself?? Am I the last person to find out I should aim with the lens?!! ;A;?!!!

.
i can understand why you’re in limbo, just waiting for the fun stuff to happen. when it does you’ll be so happy
here’s to things hurrying along!

I love my d40 and I want to lug it around everywhere, but it’s so big and I’m always afraid of dropping it or having it stolen. Maybe I need to charge my point-n-shoot and carry that around more often.

Ahhh you have so many exciting stuff coming up!!! YAY~~ I can’t wait till you guys start moving! You guys have been waiting for wayyy to long!!!!!!!~
Yeah…recently all I see are lomo cameras and all these other old school cameras~ I think it’s nice…it’ll get more people to get into film photography I hope…and not so much digital!

It’s so hard to do anything productive when you have exciting things coming up!
I totally want a polaroid camera right now. Just from looking at the picture…haha..

I would say that I’m “in limbo” as well. That mood you get when you know when nicer days are coming so you’re happy about that but the feelings of winter still slightly linger.
