New Layout, Long day, fist in the door (16)

A new layout especially for Tanabata!! [七夕【たなばた】: (n) (1) Festival of the Weaver (July 7th); Star Festival; ] I’ll try & keep this up till August 7th since it can be celebrated in either month due to different calendars. I know the layout is a bit bright. Sorry to those it pesters. I’ll change the comment css & other stuff tomorrow after work~

I had quite a day. I’m too tired to even begin to bitch about how the Passport Agency is refusing to re-issue our passports that we never received. It’s a HUGE mess & I get to speak with them again tomorrow. Not to mention the postal service absconding with 1 of the magazines I sent Lain!! The package was ripped open, 1 of 2 magazines taken, and all my personal letters to her taken. Then they re-wrapped it with a sick apology note. FUCK YOU post service!!

Anyway. On the lighter side, I’m beginning work on Mike’s recipe book. Why Mike’s? Well, he said we need to collect all the recipes we use and I said it would really be his book because he cooks. So I told him I’d love to do it and I wouldn’t girl-it-up too much. In fact, I said I’d put naked ladies in it for him!!! He then made a joke about leaving the book in the bathroom <_____<, *teeheee* dirty boys.

The holiday week (12)

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. My sister left earlier today. We went to DC & saw the Fireworks (*sorry, no pictures.*) Tomorrow it’s back to work for me too. I had such a horrible time at the airport today. Other customers were total fucking fucks to me and my sister. I know she got really upset no matter how much I tried to calm her down. My experience ended as I made my way back home on the metro (alone) and some player (or perv if you like), harassed me for the last 10 minutes of my ride trying to “get lucky” as he said. Fucking-fuck. He didn’t care that I was ignoring him and then told him to leave me alone. AND GOD FORBID THE GUY NEXT TO ME HELP BY TELLING THE PLAYER TO BUG OFF!!! geez. Lazy fat fuck. anyway …. I like the F-word obviously.

Canada was giving away yo-yo’s in DC Saturday for Canada Day. I loved the big sign “Love Your Neighbors” too. Suck ups, I kid, I kid. Anyway. Thanks for the yo-yo Canada, they are pretty nice! Endless fun too.

PS: Livv, you rock!! I’d so do that if I could :3~!! *yummy curry*

Sorry this was short. I’m just exhausted. I was @ the airport for 5 hours today. 5!

I might not update as much for the next few days (19)

thank you karen I opened the mailbox to find something as good as gold!!!! It was a package from the illustrious Karen!~~! Oh my, OH MY. Your art is so good… thou art talented even if you don’t think so. I’m gonna frame it X3. THANK YOU. You must be working tonight b/c I couldn’t message you =T. Anyway, I wanted to let you know I got it & it was very cute & the stationery was adorable (Lotte much!?)

So my sister comes tomorrow!!! I was vacuuming the guest room when… our vacuum went dead =_____=;;. Why now!?!? I had that very strong smelling powder on the carpet too!!! It’s like screaming rainforest in you face!!! So we had to rush out and buy a new one. We got this Eureka model. Man Oh Man it’s awesome. Our old one sucked anyway. We bought it while in college so it was dirt cheap (because we were broke in college!!!). Anyway, the duster attachment is the coolest <3333.

OK, that's it. Hopefully I'll blog a little, but I might not get to. Have a great 4th of July everyone~!
