I Crave Delicate Gold Necklaces

There was one other thing I bought this weekend!
A short, simple gold necklace + pendant!
Suddenly I really wanted one! 
I used to only like my long necklaces. Rosaries and such. Or something thick and flashy. Chunky chain links, etc. But lately I wanted something sweet that hit near my collarbone. 
I wasn’t sure if it was just a passing fancy so I purchased the star this weekend.

Best thing about it? $1.50 from Forever21 
I know it’ll tarnish soon, won’t last, etc, etc but I need to be sure I really did like the style before buying something pricier. I was thinking under $100 though. 
Something only gold dipped maybe. I was looking at those Dogeared necklaces at first. Lots of charms to choose from and I tried a few on last weekend.
Something from Jupiter would be a dream! 
It’s a brand Rinka has worked with for many years. They make simple, sweet pieces mostly. Very beautiful. Rinka has her own line for many seasons now.

But then today I found two gold charms from my childhood! 
I’M SO HAPPY! I THOUGHT I LOST THEM! 
I knew the chains were long gone. 
There were two necklaces my grandmother gave me when I was about 13. I was still very, very tom-boyish then and I really didn’t like the necklaces. 
The chains were extremely delicate and over time I knotted them and broke them. But I can’t believe I held onto the charms! One is a double heart. The other is a kitty. 
Now I just need a short gold chain! I’m so happy I found these 
Ah so yeah great Monday! I was really productive today, feels good. Though I’m exhausted. 
So I’ll end it here.
A little bonus shot from today. I wore these two lip glosses all day. Shu Uemura and Melliesh in Baby Doll. I never realized how well they compliment one another. They ended up together in my makeup pouch by coincidence.

Rinka x Sweet Love T-Shirt

I should really change my perspective on the trials and tribulations of having SO MUCH I want to blog about. 
It’s more of a blessing than a curse probably.
So a few weeks ago my Rinka x Sweet charity t-shirt I blogged about arrived! I’m quite pleased~~!! 
It’s so hard to get Rinka shirts or even Rinka collab items. But because this one had no “sold out” maximum it was easy! The graphic is an iron-on-like image of Sweet’s May Rinka cover: 
I was hoping it would fit a bit more, well, fitted. But I wasn’t really expecting it to. There were only 2 sizes made. M and L. So I went with M. Wish they had put out an S but can’t bitch too much. It’s for a good cause and it’s lovely 
Sadly Rinka has disappeared from her blog. Something’s definitely up. Her last real post was in April. Then a month later she posted gratitude for all the concerned emails but that she needed to rest a bit longer. My gut instinct is “pregnant.”
I’ve been checking Japanese entertainment news when I can but nothing has come out. Could just be in need of a long break. Her 38th birthday took place during this hiatus.

SERIOUSLY AS I WROTE THIS IT WAS ANNOUNCED RINKA IS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT!

So. Yeah. I miss all my Rinka inspo. Not just fashion but her blog always cheered me up. She lives life in such an honest way IMO. And I get courage from her blog sometimes when I need it.
