I’m sick. I left work at 2:00 today hoping to get home and rest it off. I’m not sure what’s wrong. I called Mike before I left and described myself as feeling “like I have a cold, the flu, and a hangover all at the same time.” It felt worse after a meeting today and when eating lunch didn’t help any I figured I should go home. That and I couldn’t focus on my computer screen to save my life! Obviously I’m feeling a tinge better now. Though I won’t be online long, just wanted to blog. This just sucks. Bad timing. Why couldn’t I feel like shit when I’m bored at work, not BUSY BEYOND BELIEF!!??
Anyway~
Came home, took a long bath, Mike made me some cold & flu hot tea, and I’m going to go lie down some more.

It’s been a loud Saturday thanks to a neighbor (16)
Last night I attended a retirement party for my boss. It was really more like an awards ceremony where there were skits, gift giving, and story-telling. It was truly delightful. The only down side was that it ran long so Mike showed up early to get me. He felt weird being there & I thought he said he’d be at the bar (inside the restaurant) when he actually said “Barnes & Noble.” So when I went to find him I couldn’t & freaked. Before I left I went to tell my boss good-bye which turned out harder than I thought it would. Let’s just end this with saying we both were holding back tears and I felt like such a helpless little girl.

I can’t fuckin’ deal with you & your shit sometimes…. 3rd day in a row I’ve fought with you even though I was nice and told you I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT PLANE TICKETS RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck, I DON’T WANT TO DISCUSS THANKSGIVING PLANE TICKETS RIGHT NOW!? I WANT TO COME HOME & RELAX. i’VE LOOKED AT TICKETS ALREADY TODAY AND YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOUR PLANS ARE! geezus fuckin’ hell!

Sigh~ It’s hard when 1 person thinks there’s issues and the other doesn’t. When Mike gets pissy I don’t know how to approach him to keep us from getting into a fight and yet he thinks we’re problem free. It’s just hard.
I know a lot of people are reading this and don’t know what to say or think.., “but you’re in love!? How hard can it be!?” Well, love can be AND IS hard. Hard Work. And hard work isn’t fun nor easy. You only realize what “work” means after the fact. If love were easy…. then 50+% of marriages wouldn’t end in divorce, right? Though people thought they were in love, and they WERE. How can both people be speaking the same language and yet can’t understand anything the other is saying?
