“Flooding from a weekend of heavy created a nightmare for commuters with washed-out roads, mud blocking the Capital Beltway and delays on the area’s rail lines.
The high water shut down commuter rail lines into the capital.
Metro subway service in the city was disrupted because of high water on the electrified rails downtown.
Drivers weren’t having much more luck.
Underpasses were flooded, and on the Capital Beltway, a mud slide piled five feet of debris backing up traffic. “
DAMN WHAT A DAY! I some how was able to get into work even though my usual train was shutdown. I was lucky enough that the metro line to my office was still running & hadn’t been closed. Even though it doubles my commute time it’s my only way in. I’m at work right now… it’s pouring still… getting home won’t be easy (T_____T).

I wasn’t on the net much yesterday (8)
I’m at work *shhhhhhhh* I don’t have anything to work on at the moment though. So it’s all good. This morning my favorite white stone necklace snapped & fell to pieces 
. I was in shock. They just DON’T make necklaces like they used to!!!!! I’ve had so many just snap & fall apart on me!!!! Even the ones I pay $20 and $30 for. I mean, I can’t cry when I pay $7.00 for a necklace & it brakes, but $30.00!?!? Does anyone have a trusted jewelry brand that costs under $50.00 but lasts a LONG time? I’m speaking more for longer necklaces too, ones you can double up. My pearls have never snapped though… *knock on wood*
Some people wanted to know how to buy “MORE” magazine. I’d suggest fujisan.com for all magazine purchases. But that’s just because I use them a lot 
.
