I’m at work

Stupid phones & DSL are down at home. Verizon is the devil. We’ve been w/o both our phone & DSL for 2 days now. We’ve called countless times, each time new promises. We went to switch from them months ago but after looking at all the fees & contract breaks it will cost us about 300$ JUST to switch off of evil Verizon :(. I hate that we EVER EVER EVER EVER went with them. But, in the south we didn’t have them and so we had no idea what bullshit we were getting into. Some of you may remember that this is far from the first time we’ve lost our connections. I would say this is about the 7th time our phone lines have been disconnected for ZERO reason.
Anyway~ Yesterday was one of the shittiest days since moving up here, for lots of reasons. I’m pretty down&out right now and I doubt I’ll have internet this weekend.
Minny, a letter I sent to you about a month ago was returned to me. I sent another soon after, but have yet to have it returned as well. The last letter you sent didn’t have a return address so I must ask if your address has changed. The returned letter said the address was incorrect, even though I used the address I’ve always used. Anyway. If you read this let me know if you still want to be pen pals & if there’s a new address. thanks!

I’m about to leave work for the weekend! *whoopie!* I had a really fun day… if you can believe it! Lunch was a lot of fun. It was nice to get out & just gossip for lunch. I really needed it, I’ve been working really hard for nearly a month. Now, if my internet would just be up n running when I get home…..

Ahh, that really sucks, I was wondering where you disappeared to, hehe~ I hope it gets fixed this today so you don’t have to go all weekend with no internet and phone at that. Glad you had a great day, it’s always nice to start the weekend off with a smile. :)

hate to hear about the internet and phone thing. It happens to my house too, but not as frequently. they actually teach us how to fix it here but i’m always clueless when they tell me “connect your __ to __” =\ hope everything’s all well. how are you on the computer anyways?

most of the power outlets in our house are down at the moment, but at least i’ve managed to hook up my computer to one of them lol. Just goes to show that we can’t live without some things.

Arghh no connection? 大変だぞう。問題ですねえ。My mom sometimes dusts the modem downstairs and she touches the on/off switch, so that means we suddenly don’t have internet. I used to panic, but know I always ask if my mom touched our modem before starting to panic. I hate being without internet :D Once our cable got cut off, but my dad already paid the bill. They said they would reconnect us, but nothing happend. So my dad made phonecall telling our cable company that our internet also runs on cable and he had to use it for work. If they didn’t fix it soon, he would lose incomes and the cable company would have to make good the loss. Our cable was fixed the very same day :) I hope you’ll get reconnected soon!
