I’ve been drinking ALOT of this tea lately. It’s gooooood! I drink it at work. About 3 to 4 cups daily. I love tea though, have for a long time, but that was always black teas. I’m beginning to really like some Green teas now that I have a MUCH wider selection to choose from.
Well, I have internet again, though a different ISP (Internet Service Provider). It’s a complicated story of good versus evil…
So our phone line (Verizon company) came back Friday. However, our DSL (AT&T company) did not. This has happened about 3 times before & I can usually call & they reset their protocols on their end & everything’s fixed. Well, not this time. Instead of even looking into their problems they wanted to straight up send a technician to my apartment to “make sure” it wasn’t something with our home. However, it will cost us $200.00. Yes, $200.00 just to have some technician check out our apartment to check to see if it’s our problem first! Before they would even see if the problem was on their end!!
OK, Here’s where it gets shitty. I was on the phone with them for 4 terrible hours. They ONLY wanted to send the technician it was “their only option.” We wanted out of our contract. Breaking our contract would cost us $200.00 as well. HOWEVER, if we just paid till our contract was up it would only be $120.00. I told them many, many, many, many things but it got me nowhere.
We went & got Comcast High-Speed Cable internet on Saturday. No contracts, and it’s under a promotional deal right now so in all we’ll only pay $150.00 till the month our AT&T DSL contract is up. That includes paying for a nonworking dsl line AND our new cable line. It’s cheaper than fixing our DSL or canceling the DSL contract!!!!!! IT’S SO FREAKIN’ INSANE!!!!!!!!!
We are supposed to call AT&T Tuesday to continue working out this “problem.” I really wish they’d just let us out of our contract, but as they said to everything I offered, “that’s just not an option.“

Green tea is great for work. I always have a box of it on my desk in the office. I just keep brewing the same bag all day, so I think I’m mostly just drinking hot water anyway.
RE your DSL, maybe they’ll let you off your contract if you become a terrible customer? Maybe try seeding popular torrents for days at a time to use your bandwidth to the max?

I love green tea! I hear it’s so good for you and helps with weight loss too :D I’ve seen that brand at the Japanese grocery market … maybe I’ll pick some up. Totally sucks about the phone company and their stupid ways to get more money.

What the hell? How can they tell you (the costume) it’s not an option. Dude, that’s just messed up. Argh, I remember once having problem with dial-up connection and they told me they would send someone over but would cost me $200 as well. Luckily, we switched to DSL and that didn’t cost us too much.

Yumm, I really like green tea but I love iced tea so I stick to the plain ol’ Lipton. :D That sucks about the DSL situation. I swear, anyway to make a buck, ya know!! Glad you have another ISP and hopefully they will be A LOT better in all aspects. That’s good that you’re not losing too much money in the end..but it’s lame that you have to go through this crap anyway.
