What happ’ah??

Saturday January 27, 2007

I didn’t mean to disappear. :;_;: I’m feeling MUCH better. I was only really sick on Tuesday.

Is it sad that I still miss my friends from Mississippi?? And college  … It’s been over a year, but sometimes I get so lonely. I wish I had a girlfriend to go shopping with :( . –sigh– I’m pathetic :rejected:.

All I really did today was stand around for no real reason at all…

I got up at 6 am to go stand in line for Sufjan Stevens tickets. Well, more than 70% of the people in line (including us,) didn’t get tickets. Apparently you only got tickets if you had been in line since 3:00 am the previous morning! WTF?! I seriously didn’t think that many people were even into the guy! Oh well~ now there are tickets up for sale… 4 for $600 and what not. Fuck that.

Damn! I know how sucky that feeling is. Everytime I go to get concert tickets, I’m always late and get the shitty seats. boooooo!!!!!

I’m sorry you’re homesick, hope you get better soon. And I agree with you on the diet thing. I just told my family that I don’t need a diet I’m beautiful the way I am it’d be nice to lose weight though but still you know? Thanks for the advice. :).

Agh, that sucks that you got up and went for nothing. I can’t believe tickets are going for that price. I haven’t even heard of him. @__@

Hey it’s okay to miss your old friends! I understand how you feel, that’s why it isn’t pathetic! Cheer up! ^^

The prices are CRAZY! I hope nobody is willing to pay $600 for 4 tickets! hah! :P

I’m glad you’re feeling better now. Of course it’s not strange that you miss your friends! Even though my big sister and I are so different it’s nice to meet up from time to time in Amsterdam and shop together :D having a big sister in the neighborhood I somehow always have a shopbuddie. Although to be honest, I rather shop alone – things go waaay faster :P Too bad you weren’t able to get your hands on some tickets. Because I simply hate standing inline I always buy my tickets online. I always managed to get my hands on a ticket that way… Better luck next time – selling 4 tickets for $ 600 is insane !!! :(

Glad you’re feeling much better. You’re not pathetic for wanting a girl friend to do stuff with, I wish that as well. As for that line, man! I wouldn’t have waited at 3:00am the previous morning.

you’re not pathetic. everyone hopes for friends to spend time with if they’re lonely. man…i’m gonna be in college next year! i really hope i can get somewhere with my best friends. that would be so fun!

i wanna go c mayday :x haha .. i didn’t click the link yet, but sufjan stevens doesn’t even ring a bell miles away

  12. Sasha says:

that is one loooong line :(

It’s so hard to make friends as an “adult”. I know how you feel… most of my friends are gone, I really only have 1 girl friend who lives nearby. Even if I had time to be social, 99% of my opportunities to make new friends are going out after work to watch sports at a bar :\ not interested.

did you ever start taking Japanese classes?

  13. Leanne says:

it’s not sad that you still miss your friends. it’s normal. :]

Go out, make some friends! I’ve been a hermit all these years and only started coming out of my shell.
