Kumiko is rockin’ the double-dye job look from 2004! ADORE THIS! First, Kumiko :arrow:
It’s in her Valentine’s High (love love VH ever since I started getting Ageha!) promos here. All I could think was of this issue of CUTiE from April 2004~
SHOCKED I still had this scan I did from 2004 on my computer!
I loved that trend. I wanted to even do my hair like that but my job at the time wouldn’t have been happy. My current job for that matter~ but I’m just happy to see a super cute girl like Kimiko rockin’ it :ohyeslovely: Of course it’s a bit more subtle than the cover image, but most of the spotlighting on the trend were subtle variations too back in ’04. Honestly… 2004 has been my favorite year for fashion~ just saying. :snot: I also spotted it in June’s Ranzuki issue~ :skipping:
I was having a really crap day this week so Mike took me shopping to cheer me up! I only picked up a few things~ The onepiece is one of the “Fab Finds” from Forever 21 ($13.00)

Tomorrow I’m going to see Joel McHale live in B’more. I couldn’t imagine my weekends without watching The Soup.
OH yea!! About the new Leave in Conditioner I bought! I have to say I really like it! The first few days I was a little disappointed b/c I didn’t see a drastic change (my hair is extremely damaged at the ends.) But then after the 3rd or 4th day I suddenly noticed my hair was looking more like it did before! Smooth and not frizzy at the ends! It’s still damaged but this stuff has really turned back the clock at least 5 months worth. Haven’t tried the 3-minute miracle. I’ll try to do that before my cut on Sunday.

i don’t think fructis is healthy for your hair, bcs it contains aggressive ingredients + a ton of silicons, even worse than pantene. it just makes ur hair look smooth and shiny but in reality it just works for the apperiance, not for the hair itself.

The girls hair in the first picture reminds so much of chocolate and banana!!! Haha! Very very cute! The second girl with the short and more intense colors differences wasn’t that nice though.

Yay Becky! She’s in a drama I plan on doing a review on. If I can stay home that is. I really hope to do my hair like that, but it’ll have to be waaaay subtle. They don’t mind dyed hair, but I doubt they’d let me go all out at work.

I love the double dye look! I’ve wanted to get mine done again since egg magazine’s non-chan has been rocking it for a few months. It used to show up quite often on Visual Kei band members (obviously more extreme styles and colours), which is why I dyed my hair like that late 2007 – which is why half my fringe is shorter on one side #_ _

Very interesting trend. I kind of like it. It is sort of like the half and half trend here, but like ours it the top and like under hair not right and left.

And… Pink pant totally ftw! I want a pair of coloured jeans, or I can just die some that I already have… Hmmm, di I smell a craft project? Haha. I also love those earrings.

I almost dyed my hair like that back in ’05 actually. I didn’t have the balls to do it though so I just dyed the the bottom half of my head black, while the top of my head was dyed a sort of brown/orange color thanks to Palty.

ah! a new post ^______^ ~ i like the hair…i just can’t dye my hair lolll i feel like a loser…but I cant bring myself to change my hair color…i like my natural dark brown too much i guess~ my sister dyed hers last summer and I was thinking about it…but decided not to….so i could never do the half thing like the model hahaha~

My sister lives in LA and she got to see a live taping of the Soup. OuO! And when he asked the audience where they were from, my sister shouted out her hometown, and it turns out Joel Mchale went to my rival school!

Oh, good ol’ Skunk Hair. That trend’s still going on at my school. I’m just waiting for it to crash and burn. I did like how my friend had the under part of her hair dyed pink (and the rest was blonde). Those pink jeans are CUTE. I’m not into the vividly-colored skinny jeans that the little Emo children wear, but those are just adorable! I want some. :D

Ugh I’ve been loving Kumiko’s hair. I want to do something like that, but I don’t think I want blonde. Maybe something darker like black/brown red/brown? Hm.. I want to shop at F21 but their music is way too loud for me to stay there that long.

Just an FYI if you ever find yourself at Shibuya 109 bring earplugs!! It’s like 10x’s worse than F21 and it’s almost always hardcore gangsta rap! Even in Pinky Girls! :P

It’s funny, right after I read this I saw so many girls here in NY rockin’ the two-tone! Most people I’ve seen have dark brown + a platinum blond top layer. I’m amazed at just how popular it is, but it’s a good look so there’s reason, I’d say.

oooo when i was like 20, i had my hair 2 colours! that was…. 2004! lol. the front was black and the back was red. it was pretty sweet.
