Camping Again
Saturday August 17, 2013

Sometimes it just feels really great to get outside, enjoy each others’ company, and (mostly) unplug. This time I put together a “classic campfire” playlist that included Blue Öyster Cult, Carole King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Kinks, Chicago, The Mama’s and The Papa’s, and others.
The temperatures have dropped this week so the fire served as both a stove and heater this time around. I packed sweaters and fuzzy socks as well. There’s a knitted blanket we always bring too. Its color is cream and brown and always reminds me of the outdoors.

I sometimes get asked what I wear when camping so I took this as I started packing. I brought a few more things than this but mainly this Free People Scottish Fringe jacket was most important item since it was really needed once the sun went down.

Not a big fan of camping, but I like the pictures! They’re very fresh and green, and I like the lights too! Cute, cute idea :)

Oh man, I absolutely love camping. There’s just something about no internet and literally being one with nature. I wish my family and friends were more into nature-y stuff.

Beautiful photos! I love your jacket.
I think it’s really fun to go camping with family/friends and doing activities not revolving around technology xD

This seems so wonderful and relaxing~ I haven’t gone camping in SO long, and I’m getting the itch to do it SO BADLY before this summer is over :(
And I love the pictures of you~ haha I think you rarely post candid-type photos of yourself like that, so it’s really cute.

I have never went camping, but I am thinking I should do it in the near future.
I guess part of the issue is that in the national forests (here at least) there’s bears and wild bores. -
I’ve been wanting to go camping. I’ve been thinking about taking the fam down to Mitake cause they are supposed to have some good bouldering there. Hopefully soon!

It has been really great weather the past few days for this! Where do you normally camp at? I haven’t done camping for ages — last time was when I was a ting thing with my grandma.
