Hurricane Ivan spared my town from mass damage. Power outages and 90 mph gusts with massive rain. Ivan moved east making landfall away from my parents. My parents are fine. They already have power restored and only had a tree limbs and a few shingles to clean up today. Anyway~ my family made it though threw the storm very well as I did too .

We came across some kittens today. The are in our complex on the opposite side snuggled up in one of the gardens. Their mommy is a sweet kitty and a person that lives over there feeds the kittens. I’d take one in if it weren’t disallowed by the management and I wasn’t allergic to them ;_;. Sadly my sinuses overreact when the cat is purely inside and in such a small space such as an apartment. Anyway, they are cute;

I’m PMSing and in a terrible stressful mood. I’ve been housebound for nearly 2 days because of the storm and most places are still closed. We went to go out tonight but that ended badly ~blegh. I’m in such a *ARG* mood. Not at anyone thing or anyone, cept myself for not accomplishing things I set for myself. I hate hormones, they are evil and hateful and they make me feel like I’m not myself.

I know tomorrow will be better. I wish Mike would try a little harder to cheer me up. Like, make me tea or something as a surprise (nevermind, he just asked me if I wanted him too). But alas, he’s doing his projects and trying to keep a safe distance from this walking time-bomb of a girlfriend. He’s probably right in that respect because I’ve told him before to just let me be when I get like this. ~Le Sigh. I’m so “BLEGH” right now that the guy downstairs being loud isn’t even bothering me o_o;;.

I really want to get more done on my poncho if it’s to be done by October. I REALLY wish I had a way to get more Japanese knitting magazines besides amazon.jp where they charge you a flat rate of 40$ for shipping ;_;. That’s so ridiculous. I’m about 30% into it now.

From a Japanese knitting book!

Ugh! Too cute! *dies*

The cop downstairs sounds like a jerk. Or maybe he doesnt’ realize he’s being loud. Has anyone spoken to him about it yet?

It’s wonderful you managed to avoid Ivan. I was watching the news and saw all the damage done in America and couldn’t help but wonder if you were in any of it.
PMS is terrible, I was feeling exactly how you did last week and I’m over it now; it’s one of those irritating things all ladies have to deal with. x_x
And don’t worry about your poncho, as long as it’s completed eventually. I was supposed to knit myself a school jumper, but school started over a week ago. ^^;;

Wow, it’s amazing what happens in a week when one takes a break from blogs. I’m so glad to hear that you’re town is doing okay. I think that’s the worst thing about knowing people in different parts of the country, there’s always something happening somewhere; but you’re okay. ^^ I love how that poncho looks! It’s just so different from the ones they’re selling in stores (read: very trend and very boring). If you don’t mind me asking, how did you learn to knot? I tried getting a few books from the libray on it but I only ended up with a huge knot of yarn and an even bigger headache.

Oh hurricanes are horrific. Yeah. At least you were spared. Yay. I’ve been in a bitchy mood lately and I finished my monthly a few days back :(
