homework weekend

I have SO much to do (blegh). I gotta remake those cables too <_< (another 2 hours of my time taken.) ANYWAY~
I can’t wait for Mardi Gras Holidays! We get 2 days out for it even though I’ll still have to work. I don’t know why we get Monday & Tuesday. It SHOULD be Tuesday (Fat Tuesday) and Wednesday (Ash Wednesday). I don’t know why I’m excited over it this year. Mardi Gras was a blast as a kid, but after adulthood hit I rarely have time to “celebrate.” We started our annual buying of King Cake! I adore King Cake. I like the cream cheese filled but Mike HATES cream cheese. We got a plain one instead. Neither of us has found the baby yet, whoever does BUYS THE NEXT ONE!

Went out with friends to dinner last night. HORRIBLE waitress. People who got there 20 minutes after us got their drinks before us! We even got our salads before our drinks (and that alone took over an hour)! We were pissed. But not the only ones, the manager had to come out and talk to each of her tables. She was just all-around crappy.
One of my professors wanted us to do our typical engineering journals online. He’s really into websites/blogs and whatnot so I got mine set up Friday. I’m VERY happy with it! It’s empty in this screenshot so try to visualize the entry and contents. LAYOUT. I love it. It’ll be more fun since I made that design for it. I don’t think it’s too cutesy for him either, he’s a really laid back, nice, funny guy. Not like most of my “totally serious in everything they do” professors. Besides, everyone else’s is probably gonna be boring,plain old text that doesn’t reflect them at all. Now if I only didn’t have my other regular engineering Journal to use =_=;;. Oh crap! I gotta write some shit about lab down in that!

its a lot easier to learn if you’re havin g a good time. I think a lot of lecturers don’t understand that, nor care for that matter!
