Recovering
Friday, April 27th, 2007 | 17 Comments
I’m back. I’m feeling better every day now. Going back to work Monday was a huge mistake. I felt like shit, left early, took Tuesday off, then went back wed - fri. I’m now progressing in my recovery at a normal pace instead of just staying the same like before. Still taking ibuprofen daily, but less every day. Still hurts, but less every day.
Emma, Liv, Jenii, & Jenn for letters/gifts over the past week
The only interesting thing I did was decide on structural options for the house. We had a 3 hour meeting with the builders and decided on a few upgrades. Next step is deciding on the finishing options (carpet, tile, cabinets, molding, lighting, etc.) I’m really happy with the options we got including recessed kitchen lighting, balcony, sconce lighting in the master bathroom, extra cable & flat screen TV outlets, programmable thermostat & so on~~
I can’t help but get really excited about the place!! I know it won’t be ready till autumn.. but construction has already started and we’re making selections and, and…
*girly screech!* Tomorrow we’re going to IKEA to buy some things that are no longer in production. Well, hoping to at least! There’s a chandelier that I want for the den & Mike wants this certain bookcase. Both are no longer being produced so we should buy it now even if we can’t install them till fall.

First comment!
I am glad you are feeling much better. ^^ I felt so awful hearing you were in such pain. And it makes me worry about my own wisedom teeth cause they are still TRYING to come in.
Hurray for IKEA. Is that what they sell? Stuff that is no longer produced? O: …(Is it discounted?)
It’s good to hear that you are getting better! I hope you’ll fully recover in a few days
Designing a new house is so exciting! Too bad my family never got a chance to do it since we move around so much. All those features for the lighting sound so nice. I really like the recessed kitchen lighting. It has a modern touch to it. When you’ve moved in autumn, don’t forget to share the pictures of your beautiful house with us!
yay!!! you’re getting better!!!
and the house sounds great! i love furniture shopping hahah maybe i should’ve chosen interior design instead of PR but its good still… (at least i can study both PR and Japanese)
i hope you will fully recover soon!! ^^

I’m glad to hear you’re feeling a bit better. You have every right to be excited about the house, no matter how far it is from being finished. I’d be excited too.
I’m glad to know that you’re steadily getting better. Don’t rush it, take your time. I used to look at Ikea stuff all the time. They have such cute quaint furniture that could go in any home. I hope you can go and have fun.
Hooray for recovery!

Congrats on the construction of your home! It’s exciting, isn’t it? My husband and I flip homes. I could only WISH that he’d agree on building a new one, but there are too many “unattractive” homes to build, or so he says. Anyway, enjoy IKEA! Shop for me!
..
oh man, I hope you’re feeling even better by now!
Congrats on your home! My brother had the flat tv/HD cables installed in his house… that shit is $$$ after the fact! It’s so nice that yours is new and you can choose everything *exactly* the way you want.
