Transportation isn’t so great

Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 | 22 Comments

Due to a train accident today I had a rough time getting home :( . I feel so bleeeegh~ just like, insides all messed up from running full force to catch the train and barely making it. I literally thought I was going to die. Literally… I’m not kidding (hahahahh.) I’ve never pushed my body so hard, hahaahah~ Plus the last two days I’ve had to walk home in the cold & windy weather b/c Mike’s douche-bag client had “a problem” with him needing 4 minutes to drive me home. So I said screw it & just offered to walk. =_____=

I’m so, so, so happy I get Monday off for Veteran’s Day. Maybe that sounds too happy for “Veteran’s Day” but I can’t help it. I’m pretty over this week…. was when it arrived 3 days ago!

I’ve never been on a train before x.x, not even on a trolley. I wish they did start using train more here though, that way people won’t have to waste gas and hurt the environment.

None of this is relevant to me, the girl who lives in the small town in Australia…

Oh why is it when I come to your site, a pop up box asks me for a password? I click cancel and everything’s fine, but when I reload it or click any links, it comes up with a box saying username and password.

Oh oops… others have said this is happening to them too.

Man, that sucks about the train accident. I can’t believe that guy is so anal that he can’t take 4 mins out of his precious life to wait until you get picked up. I bet he’s the type that’d hit a cat crossing the street instead of slowing down because he’s late for something.

Why did it ask me to login? :O

I can so understand what you mean about transportation! Just yesterday a train broken down in Sydney on my platform and I had to go all the way into the City to catch another train to go home! :( That’s the worst seriously…

And what the hell, why is the client so rude for? D

I wish I had Veteran’s Day off, whaaa~ Kaylie does, ~ I’m just waiting for my 4-day weekend for Thanksgiving to come. ^___________^

You need to pack on the scarves, boots, socks, gloves, & thermals, ~ That sucks about Mike not being able to drive ya home. How come you don’t drive your moped to work??

It seems that the weather is awful everywhere lately ^^; windy and cold and rainy, just sucks :(
I have monday off, too, but that’s because class was cancelled…and I have class this saturday, so I need that day off as compensation ^^;

that sucks - it’s too cold for too much walking! Invest in a lovely warm coat … that’s an excuse for some retail therapy

That totally sucks. Stupid client, though you can’t do much about a train accident. Hope everyone involved was okay..

Walking home in winter does suck though, today I got so wet and it was really windy :( I can sympathise with you!

-scoff- I hate it when people think they are SO important that whom ever they’ve hired can’t take 10 minutes to even go to the bathroom, do his business, wash his hands and come back! Oh no! To take that long for a necessity is BEYOND acceptable! Grr. I wanna donkey punch people like that.

Can’t do much about the train though. D: Those things happen and when they do, it blows major time. Oh well. -.- I don’t understand how train accidents happen. All can think of is someone being stupid enough to stop on the tracks or walk on them or try to get past the guard rails and beat the train. That’s usually how it happens around here.

OMG my friends were stuck in that accident traffic too!!! they were stranded at arlington cemetery with NO WAY for anyone to pick them up! since there’s no way for a car to get over there. I hope you got home okay though!! I think the trains started back up around 630 or so =/

ps. where do you get those CUUUTE gal giif thingies?? I love em!

I feel exhausted after running for more than a few minutes, haha. I’ve gotten so out of shape since college started. I haven’t had time to exercise or anything… :(

You’re lucky to have Veteran’s Day off. My boyfriend is a senior in high school, and high schools get it off, but not universities, apparently. I have an exam to take! T___T
