Airplane Windows

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 | 17 Comments

Had a window seat on all 4 flights. The benefit of booking early . My Mom is finally out of the hospital tonight. Hopefully she can make healthier choices in the future. We’ll see. All that matters is that she’s recovering again and should be feeling better by Christmas Day. It’s been really hard to deal with. Especially with work being so, so busy for me this week.

Mike took me out for sushi tonight to get me away from any “stress-filled environment.” It helped some. I hope by the weekend I can find my happiness again. Just in time for Christmas. I don’t like it when I actually notice when I laugh. As in, I’m so down lately I don’t laugh or truly smile. Today the wonderful ICANHASCHEEZBURGER had a particular lolcat that caused me to smile. I’m thankful for these little enjoyments

you are soo lucky to get window seats on all four flights!!!! even when booking early it’s hard to get them sometimes. i hope you feel better very soon. our parents have to make their own choices and we just have to remind ourselves we can’t control them.

Oooh window seats are the best! I sat by a window seat twice before in my life.

Hope you feel better and be happy soon. Christmas is coming. =)

Sorry to hear you’re down, but that was sweet of Mike to take you out for sushi. That always cheers me up.

I like sitting in window seats, but then when I’m in them, I feel paranoid about getting up too much to go to the restroom or get my stuff from the overhead bin.

Dude, ICHC always cheers me up when I’m down. That’s where I automatically go, haha.

Your pictures are so cool! When I took my plane pictures, I got the oddest looks from people. Did you?

I’m glad your mom is well enough to go home. I hope things work out with her. My heart is with you.

I know what you mean. Lately it’s been hard for me to smile too. And when I do, it’s forced, so people won’t worry about me. Grandpa died less than a month ago and the family hasn’t stopped crying.

I love window seats!

It’s great to hear that your mom is recovering I hope everything will get better for you^^ Being stressed in this time of the year is really difficult. It’s hard to enjoy the holiday when you can’t get into the spirit.

Haha, that lolcat is so funny It’s good to have something that’ll cheer you up!

If I had had a window seat to and from Japan, I probably would have enjoyed the flight more because quite honestly, if you give me a window, I could stare out of it for hours and hours and hours just letting my mind wander away. Imagining stories playing out in the clouds, or where ever I am.

I hope your mother gets better! And I wish you a very merry Christmas!

Don’t stress too much, Jen. Not good for you. :] Take care, mmkay. Kick a pillow if you get super stressed.

The pictures are beautiful but I myself would probably be freaked out sitting at a window seat! Looking out of the window from such a high altitude would scare me, I think

I’m glad to hear you’re laughing and smiling lately. Cheer up for the Christmas season, yeah? I’m sorry I haven’t been a very good friend as of late but I do actually read your entries! I hope you and Mike are doing well!!

Oooh! Window seats are always fun, especially when you have a camera in hand. Hehe. ^__^

I wish the best of care for your mother. She sounds like she’s going through a difficult time without realizing how much it’s hurting everyone else. No matter what happens, just keep on enjoying life the best you can and appreciate every moment.

Mike is so sweet for taking you out for sushi.
