A Little YesStyle Update

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 | 59 Comments

I got an order in from Yesstyle this week! I got a bunch of lash goods. Diamond Eyelash, Etude House Vivid Eyelash, and more Rich Accent lashes in Corner Highlight style and Brilliant Gorgeous Sexy style.

Brilliant Gorgeous Sexy

I used the Corner Highlight lashes along my bottom lash line here

Corner Highlight

I love the Rich Lash series. Plus Nana Suzuki uses them a lot too! They’re especially good for the bottom outer corners And she’s a total pro at getting that extra dramatic lash look outta this brand!!

I also saw that YesStyle has Geo brand circle lenses up for sale now too! They even seem to have many of them in prescription strength up to -4.00. You purchase 1 lenses at a time so you’re able to buy 2 different strengths if you’re eyes vary in prescription strength.

And they also started getting in Dolly Wink products!! (Here!) So far it’s the 2 liners. The brown pencil liner and the waterproof black liquid liner! I hope they get in the lashes too, especially the lower lashes! Oh and the eyelash case! I really want that cute case Dolly Wink has!

Now all that’s left is if YesStyle started carrying bath salts!! Especially sweat bath salts like Bison’s bath salts! The Bison ones are always sold out on other online stores and so hard to get! Another cool item to see added would be those Dr. Scholl’s QTTO sleep socks! Those seem sold out a lot too on other online shops

It bothers me that the socks are Dr. Scholl’s brand but they’re only available in Japan. So unfair to deprive us American girls of these products! We want to reduce leg swelling overnight too!!! Haahaa!

wow, you’re a pro, I always get bothered by bottom lashes or lashes and contacts, I dunno why. I’m trying to suck it up though. I really wish yesstyle would get those soaks, the ones I use barely get me to sweat anything.

oh and that must be a #1 annoyance is american brands selling things in Japan they dont sell here! why can’t I have it? Just why? Why can’t I at least buy it on your website? is it only for Japanese DNA will I die if I use it…jeez, you think I was asking for something illegal…

I know! I remember when I saw Special K released cocoa flavored 100 calorie crackers BUT IN JAPAN ONLY! Whhhhhhhhhy!? Why not at least TRY to release it in the US for a limited time thing just to test? *sigh*

I think these companies worry targeting women is seen as sorta, sexist, if that makes sense. I remember being shocked seeing a whole women’s department in an electronic store in Tokyo and it was bright pink with every pink electronic in the store and I was like THIS IS GLORIOUS… THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN AMERICA!

Cute lashes! They look pretty and natural on you~ *jealous of your skillz*

I have been using the leggings-type MediQtto at home for only two days and have seen a HUGE difference- like several centimeters off my ankles and calves! I am afraid to go without them now, haha.

I think many brands assume that these types of products wouldn’t sell well in the US (plus of course there are a wider variety of body shapes and sizes in the US, too ^^;.
I have the opposite problem living in Japan- I can’t find some of my favorite products from home, and some things like body lotion are so expensive here. ;_;

You brought so many lashes!
how much did they all cost in total?

i hope you get the Dolly Wink lashes soon, i own a few myself and i really love them!
i’m also fascinated about their liquid eyeliner, it seems to be really good.

what is the brand of glitter eyeliner you used?

and btw, i love your hair coloir Jenny!
i wish i wasn’t born with black hair, getting my regrowth dyed every month is annoying =(

Each pack cost $8 each so around $30 in total. The glitter is Koji brand’s ウル瞳Sister silver eyeliner

the lashes look really great on you~
im so sick of contact lenses ;_____; mine are always so dry, so I have been wearing my glasses more~ These colored ones are so pretty though~

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:31 am

Oh no, that’s no good :(. I wear my glasses a full day at least once a week to give my eyes a break since my contacts can be totally annoying too sometimes. Maybe there’s a new brand or series out there that lets more oxygen in or has higher water content you could switch to? I know I’m stuck in my Acuvue 2’s due to my high prescription =__=;;

Those leg covers have me very curious! How are they supposed to work though? I’d love to lose some thickness on these “swollen” legs of mine haha

woow! your lashes collection must be huge now !! i’m still looking for accent lashes.. it seems like they don’t sell it here :( in pharmacies anyway~

the qtto socks apparently works~ if you saw my tweet my mum said my legs looked slimmer the mornign after i wore them after not wearing them for 1~2 weeks!!

i didnt realise that the geo lenses are quite cheap!! i thoguht lenses are like $100 O_O

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:23 am

100$? Oh no. A year supply of daily wear normal contacts are $100. Geos you can get between $20 & $30 a pair and that 1 pair lasts a year.

You are a pro yourself at lashes, so shush! lol ❤
I would LOVE to try those sleep socks~ hopefully Yesstyle will start carrying more beauty aid items like that!
Can you recommend any other sits that would sell calorie-off socks or something similar?

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:22 am

cosmelandusa has the calorie off socks (these are for walking only, not sleeping)
and sasa.com has the Qtto socks! They’re often sold out but according to a bajillion annoying msgs I’ve gotten in the past 2 days they’re back in stock right now (lol)

Nice nice!

What glue do you use for your eyelashes? I got one from the shop I bought mine but it’s super strong and it’s so much work to take them off (and hurts alot too! D I don’t want to wear them, and I’m pretty afraid to buy another glue in case the same happens again.

Oh my, the leg reducer sounds great! haah I’ll have to look for something like this! (althought I don’t think I will find anything, awesome things like these are only sold in Japan…

Btw, I saw Muji (a zakka shop from Japan that has many shops arround the world, maybe you know about it) has that leg and arm massager that are sold in combinis and donkis in japan!

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:34 am

I use Lash Duo’s glue. It’s cheap and sticks pretty well but not painfully well like your glue seems to be sticking :( Sometimes it helps to wet a Q-Tip with eye makeup remover and go along the lash line before removing the lashes.

OMG yes on both the Sleep Socks + Bison - I get to take a Bison bath like, one a freakin’ year the way they come and go HAHA

Look at your cuteness! Wow, $12 for Geo lenses is an amazing price! I’m not sure my brown eyes would look good in any colors, though *sigh* laaame

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:36 am

I think they look best on brown eyes tbh (since all the magazine ladies have brown eyes) DD. I think the $12 is just for 1 lens though, so 24$ a pair. Though if you ever lost or tore just one lens it’s awesome you can go buy 1 at a time! LOL

Yummy lash haul! I love them all but you have me curious about the Diamond ones, so pretty! The lower lash accents look nice, I hope I can get mine to look half that good. Haha I’m waiting on some Etude Long lashes to arrive myself.

Geo lense spazz!! I’ll may be snagging some in my next order. Love the Angel Blue.

Yes YES on wishing for Bison salts, any time I find a seller their sold out. (Are you hearing all of us YS?!? Haha) I really want to try them as they sound so nice. *heart*

Oh what a wonderful haul! I love all the cosmetic items that your purchased, the lashes really suit your eyes. Well lashes always look fabulous on you!

I really like Nana’s dramatic lashes, I want to wear false lashes just like she does

I have a pair of those Dr. Scholls socks, but they are just the knee high version (and getting worn out) so I need to pick up a pair before I leave Japan. They are so helpful when traveling so long on flights. Don’t fancy a bloodclot haha.

Jenny….. ALL of these items are always readily available on Ebay, why wait?

The Dolly Wink lashes are very comfortable, you’ll love them.

P.s. you should also check out falsies that are made in Taiwan, the good ones cost hardly USD$1 a pair, I bought 100 boxes in total, each box with 10 pairs of lashes in them, so I’m set for life. And you just throw them away after each wear, no cleaning necessary

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:12 am

Yes I know, I’m just talking about wanting to see them on Yesstyle as well. I actually have purchased some cheap $2 falsies from ebay recently too. Shipping is just taking a long time.

Hi!
How do you pose your eyelashes? Can you make a photos tutorial? I’ll enjoy that!

jenny said
May 13, 2010 @ 9:15 am

I don’t really do tutorials since I don’t fancy myself any sorta “guru” =Y. I’m always learning new techniques so I never think I’m the best at giving such advice. Though I know there are tons of how to videos on youtube already!!

Jelena said
May 13, 2010 @ 6:28 pm

Pfff! There are lot of videos but I love your types of eyelashes and your eyes! You are unique! lol
Well… this morning when I posed a very cute eyelashes I bought 1 year ago, I was scared coz my eyes seemed to be a huge monster eyes… T_T Too bad

jenny said
May 15, 2010 @ 9:27 pm

Huge monster eyes!? Oh I doubt that DDD I think we’re always our own worst critics. I’m sure my nose looked fine in the pic above but I got tired of seeing it so I scribbled over it hahahahaa!

Hey Jenny, I have a question about circle lenses. I recently preordered a pair of Max Pure Brown circle lenses from pinky paradise and is waiting for them to come. I want to ask do you know what’s the life span of the lenses before you need to replace them? Also, did you have to pay for custom taxes when your lesnes arrived? Thanks!

You should try sasa.com, adambeauty.com and ichibankao.com. I use those sites pretty regularly and I’ve never had any problems with them. Just a suggestion. c:
