Candy Doll Peach Pink Blush

CANDY DOLL CHEEK COLOR PEACH PINK
キャンディドール チークカラー ピーチピンク

The other pictured is ハイライト マシマロパープル :

The Peach Pink blush isn’t as pigmented as it looks. It’s actually a pretty subtle color. I put it on with a mini kabuki brush it’s so sheer. It’s a good match for mixing with a sheer beige cheek color with Candy Doll Peach Pink on the apples of the cheeks and a beige on the cheekbones etc. I would think this an almost useless color except I really like it now with my darker hair color.

The highlighter is Marshmallow Purple :deco14: color and has an extremely sheer sheen. :deco12: It’s not as illuminating as Cosmagic’s Deco Cheek highlight color which reminds me a bit of the same look you get from Benefit’s High Beam. I apply this with a smaller brush usually above the apple of my cheeks and alongside my nose.

These aren’t holy grail items for me but they’re still nice. I do like the cheek colors for their size! Very small so they travel easy. I do most my makeup on the go

I like me some sheeer blush haha. Is Candy Doll a bit on the pricey side tho? Can’t remem. I was thinking about trying the Happy Booster blush.

    • jenny says:

Yeah even in yen it’s 1,260 which is a bit “upper” in the drugstore brand land of things.

I tried Happy Boost! It’s super, super pigmented & smells amazing :)

  2. Sami says:

I always liked and wanted their blushes but the size put me off
Then I realised, the amount you use per… use
Its not alot, it probably lasts quite a while :D

    • jenny says:

That’s true, when you first buy it, it’s like “this is it!?!?” but it’s typically SO pigmented it lasts a long time. I’ve been using the highlighter a few months now and it’s nowhere near its base :D

  3. Leslie says:

So cute! I remember you had mentioned you wanted a more sheer, subtle blush. The combo is really lovely on you and super natural.

  4. Gloria says:

That’s a unique highlighter colour but it totally works ^-^ and the blush looks so natural on you. Love it

  5. Fatiha says:

Good colors for blushes are hard to find in stores..
But this one looks wonderful for a ‘natural’ look! You could definitely make it work!
It looks really nice with your darker hair ! ^_^
    & I love your earrings ~ hehe
i hardly have any time in the mornings, so i guess on – the – go products would be great for me!

    • jenny says:

Yea I do my makeup at work for the past… hum… 3 years! Before I’d have to make time at home & miss the train! Or TRY and do it on the train. But SO many other women do theirs at work too in the mornings so I joined them LOL

  6. Kim-Mari says:

Just wanted to say ur new hair color is uber cute ~

  7. Rubi says:

Wow! I really love this color! So pretty and natural~ I seriously love your hair color (can I say it over and over? lol)
oh and p.s. your skin is perfecttttt!

    • jenny says:

Oh please, do go on! LOLOLOLOL I’m still loving it & already questioning buying a box for root coverage in a month or so~

  8. Tori says:

Awh, I like the nice subtle glow these give~ really nice for everyday :3
& I agree with Rubi~ your skin is amazing! *jelly* D:

  9. Aw too cute! ^^ I like my blush to be very vibrant since I like the whole dramatic look, but being subtle is also very nice too! Especially if I try to wear a natural-looking style. I love the case also! I can’t wait to buy some!

  10. Would you suggest me trying these? I saw them in a store in HK but I thought they were still pretty expensive. They were around $135 HK which is around $17 USD so it’s not that extremely cheap in Hong Kong either :( Do you think they are still worth me trying since they aren’t HGs for you? :)

    • jenny says:

Actually I’m surprised they weren’t more expensive for you since in yen they’re 1,200! Hmmmmmmm I dunno. If you’re trying to save $ I would probably suggest Cosmagic’s Deco Cheek in pink instead, though it’s super pigmented :) Or trying one of the more popular Candy Doll colors instead of this Peach Pink one. If you don’t have a highlighter though this highlighter is good. But like I said in my entry Cosmagic’s is more dramatic plus you get 2 other shades in 1!

  11. Julia says:

Where do you found all the dolly wink products?
I really want to get her liquid Eyeliner. ^^

  12. Steph says:

I do my make-up on the go too XDDD
yay for travel sizes. I must invest on one!

  13. Magda says:

I also have this blush and it is very sheer, but it can create super cute effects as a highlighter, mixed with some other cheek product. ^^*

  14. lissy says:

    so pretty :D
even though candydoll is a bit pricey i love the packaging

  15. Thanh Thao says:

Very cute blushes!! I’ve seen those Candy Doll products a lot while I lived in Tokyo, but never bought something, now I kinda regret, haha! XDD

Oh btw, I’ve changed my blog’s URL to http://welcometorainydays.blogspot.com/
Please make sure to update your blogroll, I’m sorry for the inconvienience!!

  16. Yuki says:

I really like Candy Doll Bblushes♪
But I think it’s a little too expensiv for their size ´__`

  17. Veronica says:

I was wondering how the lilac one was as a highlighter!
I wanted to get them all at Parco *dies*

You know what’s actually awesome? Maybelline’s FIT “deep nude” blush is a great beige! the brush is just awful, lol but the color is great

    • jenny says:

LOL Maybelline has historically terrible brushes, so true xDD

      The highlighter is nice and more subtle than most US versions which are liquid. Though now the US has a few powder ones out 2 years after Japan’s craze =_=;;;

      • Veronica says:

        I know right! So late!

        AND late on the curling mascaras /:{

but but Hard Candy released Moon Glow which is my fav highlighter so far (although it’s a huge ass compact that could basically swallow Dolly Wink whole lol)

  18. Alisa says:

Can you tell me where you get the Candy Doll items?
    :) thanks!

  19. Ada says:

an orangey tone blush would probably go well with your new hair color too :)

ps. buhh! ur skin is ridiculously good! :3

  20. Sidney says:

hooray for little blushes! my mom recently sent me a clinique blush that i really like, but it’s SO pressed/compacted in there i almost have to scrub at the powder to get some on my brush…..but anyway, the case isn’t that small, which sucks.

also, it’s great your new blush matches your new hair~ ^^

  21. Courtney says:

Nice and subtle I like it!!
