PAUL SMITH ROSE
Turkish Rose – Magnolia – Violet – Soft Musk – Woody Accord – Green Tea
I have been wanting to try Paul Smith Rose for a few years now after seeing it on display (above photo.) :deco1: When I saw Yesstyle offering the body lotion I decided to finally get my hands on it! I simply love it! It is by far my favorite rose-scented lotion now! It has a really “green” scent to it. It’s not just a rose petal-like scent, but it’s more realistic. I feel I can smell the fresh cut green stem in there too. :deco1: It’s really true to a bouquet of roses. And the formula itself is wonderfully luxurious. It comes out not too creamy but not runny either. When it goes on it feels slightly oily :deco13: but it actually absorbs cleanly into the skin! No residue! This is now my favorite morning lotion because it absorbs quickly and dries clean so I can wear it under heavy clothing without feeling I’m getting greasy film on them. And the scent sticks around for quite some time. I often don’t even wear a perfume when I have it on because the lotion is enough. :ok:

Currently Yesstyle is sold out of just the lotion but they do still have this lotion + fragrance package in stock. I might have to look into getting the fragrance too since I’m in love with this lotion so much. :deco2: :deco1:

The display is so cute! The package too! The perfume might be a “must-get”. And on YESSTYLE the price is pretty okay too.

aww I like how one of your signature scents is rose! there are so many variations of just ONE scent so it’s good to find alot that you like !

i love the idea of a fresh scent ;) versus a fake “rose” smell…like a real banana over banana flavoring :/

OK so I’m a massive Rose freak too! I desperately want to buy this but am saving my pennies for Christmas. I started out with the Stella fragrance that is lovely but doesn’t hold. It’s a musky rose. Then went for Rose Absolute (also Stella) which is quite dark. The body shop have discontinued my favourite ‘green’ rose scent which was called Tea Rose which left me a tad bereft :( Until I found a fragrance also called Tea Rose (by The Perfumer’s Workshop) which has been in production since the 70s. You can find this on bargain tables or pretty cheap online. The initial spritz is a bit too much but within the next 30 seconds its like your’e shoving your face in a big bunch of freshly cut roses. I wonder if simple scents like this are not ‘fashionable’ and thats why its so cheap?? Iv’e just rediscovered lilly of the valley and orange blossom too :) Anyway I doubting my resolve in regards to buying the Paul Smith….

The gift set is currently on sale in a store here, so I think I may have to add it to my wish list. Sounds lovely :D

Thank you for reminding me about this – I wanted this perfume so badly a few years ago. I must get it now!
