A Small Beauty Haul

Earlier this week I received an order from Yesstyle. It’s a bit telling that it has a few New Year’s Resolution hopes tied to it! Ha! Lots of firming up body gels. I recently finished my giant bottle of Nivea Skin Firming Moisturizer Q10 Plus. I wanted to try more firming gels again. The Nivea one I used to use (which worked wonders) is no longer available.
So I picked up these three from SANA-
A few other things I got include -
- SANA Hadanomy Collagen Cleansing Gel (makeup removal)
I wanted something more gentle for removing my eye makeup lately and this line gets amazing reviews so I’m finally trying it out!
- Skinfood Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet
Skinfood! I have a bunch of free skinfood samples to try too. I love eye masks for days I don’t want to do a full face mask. The packaging was really sweet and natural looking as well. Peaceful almost.
- Kose Happy Bath Day Precious Rose Rose Enrich Lip Essence
I talked about Happy Bath Day items before! Ready to try this lip essence!
- Shiseido Majolica Majorca Glass Drop Gel Coat
I heard this gives a nice “gel nail” look to simple manicures and I’m always looking to try new top coats. Lately my nails have weakened due to stress so they are so ugly right now despite my nail supplements and strengthening products.
I still have a lot to try from Christmas too.
I’m sorta on a beauty goods binge lately but it makes me happy so I’m not going to chastise myself over it right now :) Instead I’m off to try my Hadanomy cleansing gel!

i’m using the facial water vita-C as a night time moisturizer and i really like it! the salmon brightening cream is not impressive though =x hope you will let us know after you have tried them ya ;)
and now, i’m tempted to pick up the glass drop gel top coat too!

Wow~ I’m looking forward to seeing what you think about the cleansing gel. Right now I’m using the makeup remover from Naruko’s AMPM line and while I like the other Naruko products I’m currently using, the makeup remover is so drying…

i would love to hear a review about the esteny firiming lotions,
i’ve wanted to try them but i’m hesitate as to if they even work or do what they say they do ( ´，_ゝ｀) -

Cute buys!! I always love the Skin Food packaging, so pretty and feminine. I wonder if the Majolica Majorca top coat is any good, because if it gives the gel nail finish, then I definitely wanna try it out too!

I think splurging on beauty goods isn’t as ‘frivolous’ as splurging on clothes & shoes… After all, improving yourself from the inside out is worth the cost! ;) -

Oh this looks like such a lovely haul! There is something I love about Japanese/Korean make up packaging. Love Skinfood! All their products smell so gooood!

Is firming gels legit? I always find it hard to believe a gel can help tight up your body, but maybe it does.. A trick I’ve learn though, is to brush your skin (where it’s most common to get cellulites) with a grooming brush (same as grooming a horse lol) a while everyday to get the blood flowing and it will tight up and prevent cellulites. But I don’t know if this work yet, we’ll see in 10 years.

I find that these products all take consistency of use to see effect, and it’s just easy for me to get lazy and slack 5 days out of a week haha. Speaking of Sana, (this is off topic) their extra large mascara is amazing, zero smudge and keeps the curl all day long, even makes my sparse asian lashes look like faulsies!

I have used Skinfood’s Carrot Collagen Eye Sheet several time. It’s really good~ I hope you do a review on the Esteny Hip & Leg Power Tight. I’m really interested to know how good it is ^^.

I have like, the most awkward big butt ever. It’s not a cute bubble-shape or anything. Just BIG. Now I want to buy ALL OF THESE in hopes that it would help. But it wouldn’t. What is the main improvement you have noticed with firming stuff? Less obvious collegen or just “tighter” skin or…???

Hey Jenny! I just noticed we both have the skinfood salmon eye brightening cream! Have you tried yours yet? I love mines, though I don’t see any brightening affect but it sure is moisturizing and it smells like heaven!!!!

So many samsples! When I was in Korea, whenever you buy something at Etude/SkinFood/Missha/etc, they give you SO MANY samples, it’s crazy… I still have a bags full of samples that I’ve been trying out and giving to friends lol
