Short getaway but I’m home now and blogging from my PC again! I have to admit I didn’t pull out my camera as often as I had hoped. :deco13: These are snaps I took during night plus the hotel I stayed at. It was The Sofitel located in midtown for anyone who’s interested. Beautiful, convenient, friendly. :deco5:
It was nice to finally go back after visiting almost 2 years ago.

I’m SO HAPPY they have SO MANY UNIQLO open here now!!! I stocked up too! I got 2 skirts, 3 blouses, a sweater, loungewear… I would have gotten more but … *restraint
These boots I got in Tokyo 2 years ago at Shimamura. They sorta took a beating though on this trip. I walked so much the sole in front is wearing down fast :(

Yeah I think L’Occitane must have a huge hotel contract because I had L’Occitane at a few other luxury hotels I stayed at too! They’re always different though, thankfully, so more fun to try them out!

Is such a busy town. Saw uniquo. Shopping spree over there ? I love the bedroom. So nice.
Oh yes! I bought a lot at UNIQLO! But I couldn’t buy too much since my luggage was only the small backpack :P

Seriously I’ve had a LOT of macarons from various cafes and brands but Laduree… THE BEST! I mean, just .. wow! Like eating pillows or fluffy clouds!
Ah, NYC! Love the city, used to live about an hour away by train… something about the night lights and gorgeous window displays is very nostalgic. Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Yay for macarons!!! I just love NYC, and it certainly deserves the name “concrete jungle”! It’s been so long since I’ve been there… I just need to save up for two more years then I’m all set to go! o(^^o)
It’s crazy how quickly it changes too, I was here only 2 years ago and a lot had changed, I was surprised! But then again DC is the same :X It’s good though, fun to see the changes!

Yeah I think they must have huge contracts with luxury hotels! I’ve seen L’Occitane amenities before like the Keio Plaza has them, etc! They’re so nice and never the same so I’ve gotten to try different scents & formulas. I think these were my favorite though. Really invigorating scent!

That hotel looks gorgeous! I’m not planning a NY trip until May when my friend comes to visit. I’m going to show her around D.C and then her last week we’re going to spend in NY.

The drink I think was Malibu rum, Midori, and pineapple juice.

I kept my bag too! I was going hoping they’d have the bath goods but I asked & they said they didn’t carry them *sad* So I got macarons only.
Of course I’ll take a snap! I just got home late Sunday night then been back to work so haven’t had time to even unpack them yet :P

Not a lot, b/c all I had for luggage was 1 backpack. And also everything I was hoping to get wasn’t there x( But it’s OK, I got some things :D It was nice to just get away for a weekend to be honest~

Wow, what nice photos! Did you take these with your new camera? I have never had Lauderee macarons, but there is a place on 6th ave and 23rd that has the best I have ever had. This cute little French lady makes them – beret and everything.
Oh I stopped there too!!! It was really close to my hotel. It’s called MacarOn or something. Though I didn’t see any beret wearing lady x( Macarons were decent though, good floral flavor variety!

I see the Anna Sui Spring 2012 collection is already in stock at the designer’s store! I hope you went in, it’s almost a touristic attraction in itself; it’s incredibly beautiful in there and they sell the most precious makeup ever.
I did I did! I was hoping they’d have the spring makeup line bc I wanted to get a blush compact but they didn’t :(. Just the usual makeup line which I already own some of. Oh well~~
Yeah, the Rose Fairy collection will be launched next week, there will be a launch party for it at the boutique! It’s the day after the fashion show, Thursday the 16th, probably around 6PM. Just so you know in the future, it’s always like that; the “main collections” (which means excluding the Holiday and Beach collections) have each their launch party the day after the fashion shows in February and September.
