Doutor Houjicha Latte
Doutor had a houjicha latte campaign. I’ve had matcha latte which I think is OK. Though I like matcha tea, I enjoy houjicha the most! I think it’s just a fantastic roasted flavor and I love it any time of day, hot or iced. More so than sencha or genmaicha. This latte did not disappoint. It tasted delicious. Especially since it was a chilly rainy day out. It was sweeter than I expected but, then again, I don’t drink the super sweet Starbucks beverages either. :deco13: So I’m just not used to it.
Caffe Veloce coffee
This cafe chain, Caffe Veloce, was literally next to our hotel and opened pretty early. Tons of seating with a refined sort of European cafe atmosphere at this particular one. Loads of seating with a laid back “come & go as you please” vibe. Went here a few times as a morning pit stop.
This is their Café au lait and Primo Cafe which has soft serve ice cream on top.

Oh my goodness, I’m dying. I wish I can drink coffee. I had to stop when I found out I am lactose intolerant. I’m still trying to get used to drinking soy milk, too (although I hear that I shouldn’t drink too much soy these days either).
I feel for ya. Have you tried Rice Dream? I prefer it over soy or coconut milk or almond milk. Well I say I. I mean MY STOMACH lol

omg, can’t really imagine how the houjicha latte might taste like.
houjicha reminds me of oolong tea so i can’t think of it tasting sweet.
does it goes with sugar that well?

what camera are you using? and also do you use

I’m using an Olympus Pen E Pl2. I did a short post on it when I got it last year – http://sushi-cat.net/2011/10/01/some-changes/ so maybe that will help.
I also use Photoshop to resize the photos for posting since the Pen already gives you full control over color, white balance, art filters, etc.
All the lattes looks so yummy! The only coffe that i drink is mochaccino, because we don’t have the latte drinks here lol Or iced cappuccino. I made a matcha latte with green tea, i liked, but i still need to find matcha powder…
hello jenny, sorry for the irrelevant query, but may i know where u got the 360 eyelash curler from? im currently in japan(tokyo) and i went to a few matsumoto kiyoshi but can’t find them :(
I got it at Yodobashi (or Bic Camera, I can’t remember exactly) but it was at an electronics store.

Wow, those look so delicious.
And I belong to the lactose intolerant bandwagon as well, so I can’t get lattes easily, though many cafes are beginning to offer de-lactosed milk, soy/rice/coconut milk isn’t as popular here yet. Or if I get black coffee, I ask for evaporated milk.
And reading the question about your camera, so basically you made the settings while taking the pic.
I’m so bad at taking photos that makes me think it will take time to take the pics, but it’s all about getting used to the controls and stuff, right?
Yeah the Pen has an option for control over all aspects. Usually I just take a moment to set it and am good until I change location or something. But I can also change to any ART filters quickly so I’ll do that sometimes too. The more I use it the more I get a feel for the settings needed for certain scenes.

Also, I recently get the Pen EP3, after dreaming of owning a Pen since you posted about getting yours last year! 8′D

I like ice royal milk tea at doutou! I havent tried veloce yet but heard nice things about their coffees 😄
