So Long August

August is such a back & forth weather month here. A mix between 90°F all the way down to 60°F. Left my camera in the closet so I could remember to take a few after-work/weekend snaps last month. Some days only a t-shirt & shorts were bearable. This past Saturday I was able to wear a black sweater for an early morning grocery run but had to change to a tee by noon.
Since yesterday was Labor Day I started packing away a lot of my simple tees and light-colored items pulling out some things for autumn instead. WISHFUL THINKING.
And speaking of wishful thinking; I picked up a flannel boyshirt and scarf yesterday…
Really excited about the scarf. It’s a great replacement for my spring scarf plus I love my current winter plaid scarf to death and so now I have 2 color options.

it’s been so hot over here that all i can do is to try to balance wearing the least amount of clothes while not being revealing. i can’t wait for this heat wave to pass -
Marimekko bag! :D I couldn’t resist commenting because of that.. it’s just so weird to see marimekko stuff outside Finland. It has actually restored my faith in marimekko cause it’s targeted for old people here in Finland… and then suddenly outside Finland they are targeting “young-adults” :o Especially in Japan it seemed to be more like for ppl aged 20-30. It’s interesting! I think nowadays they are slowly trying to target also younger ppl in Finland too, but the image is so stuck on marimekko being the “expensive granny brand” :c ..which is a shame!

I totally bought a flannel scarf from Zara in August which is weird because I am a definitely ‘wear now’ shopper! Loved that its finally cool enough to wear now!
