moving on up (7)

I got to work this morning to discover the moving around had taken place while I was gone! My stuff was in my new office already. It was pretty crazy. About half the staff is switching offices and I couldn’t find some of my stuff at first. There’s a few things that still need to be taken care of but it’s sooooooo nice to have a private office now!!! No one bugs me, I only have to worry about myself and my work. It’s spectacular !! As you can see, I’m happy, hahaha, I’m sure the glam of it will wear off soon though. But time flies for me now at work. I like being on the second floor too because it’s less busy in my area.

School starts in a week. I got my work times together & OMFG I’m gonna have zero free time. I have the hardest professor ever and I have him for 3 classes!!!! Hahaha, he’s great, but you gotta study hard core to get an A from him.

It’s still a little cooler here, about 85 degrees or so. I’m trying to knit up my poncho before Autumn is in full swing.

excuse me Mister (7)

Mike & I went to dine al fresco at our favorite Japanese resturant for lunch today. We were sat down, got our drinks, the waiter said he’d be right back….. We were still waiting to place our order… he didn’t ask if we were ready when he gave us our drinks….. almost 20 minutes passed without any SIGN of the damn waiter!!! We left. needless to say. They had maybe 4 other tables there, in other words, they were dead, so it’s not like he was busy. He just forgot about us or something!!! So pisssssssed! So we went to another resturant, fancier really, and they got us eating within 10 minutes! 10 minutes! And they were much more busy than the other place.

When we left the Japanese place I left the guy a note on the back of the sushi order sheet “Took Too Long.” I mean sheesh, 20 minutes for food is okay, but 20 minutes just WAITING to order when the place is DEAD is just rude as hell.

Mike & I had a great day together just window shopping. I did get some new tea light candle holders for the bathroom
