Surprises Make Me Feel Better
Monday, 11月/17日 [2008年] // 30 Comments
It snowed tonight for about 5 minutes!
It’s supposed to be 28°F tomorrow
I’m a little worried because I was feeling really sick earlier today. Stomach virus maybe? Hopefully when I wake it it’ll be gone. Had some packages waiting for me at home today. One was a Xmas present from Mike with the company name plastered all over the box! *Nuuuuuuuu!*
I wanted to be suuuuuuurprised!!!! Damn.
Oh well. I’m not sure EXACTLY what was in the box I guess… I’ll know come Christmas day! I just know I did have something from that store on my xmas list… sigh.
I also received a little surprise package from my friend in Japan!
Some clothing catalogs (the new winter Lowrys Farm!) It’s pretty cool. It’s set up like a model casting call notebook. She also sent a super furry black coin purse from Egoist!!! I’m really excited because it looks like my new camera might fit in it!! My old one did at least, hahah *big clunker!* I actually bought a really basic Egoist eco-bag while in Japan that I’ve yet to take a snap of. She was with me when I bought it. Also she was with me when I got my Rilakkuma kigurumi so she sends me Rilakkuma stuff too

And speaking of リラックマ… M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S ! !

Wow! You are so lucky to have snow! Even just a little bit. Snow always makes me so happy and feel like a kid all over again.
That is a really cute package, especially the fuzzy bag. Is it soft?
The rose bath confetti looks really cute too!
What company did Mike buy things from?
Hope you feel better soon!

I want it to snow here. Living near the sea means that we hardly get any
I don’t know why they put advertising all over the box, it spoils a lot of surprises.
November 18, 2008 @ 3:48 pm
Aww lucky you two packages…! Sure you can’t open one yet, but still exciting. (Hope you feel better as well!) Man…I can’t even think about Christmas yet…it’s stressing me out…gotta get through finals first. @_@ Haha I love the second link of Rilakkuma…him laying on the bed like that seems like *come to me* lmao.
November 18, 2008 @ 5:25 pm

DUUUUUUDE, i hope you’re feeling better now. And that package is simply DELICIOUS. I have this wedding card that’s been sealed and ready to go…but I was putting off sending it off since I wanted to get a gift to go with it…but I don’t know how to shop for wedding gifts ;A; I mean, what tops going to Japan??! *criespitifully*
And about Flickr…this was copied from Gen’s blog…but I was going to convey the same message:
“About Flickr…apparently, they’ve been going all Nazi since Yahoo bought them. My friend’s PAID Flickr account was deleted UNannounced and they are NOT responding to her inquiry as to WHY it was deleted. Apparently, if you go over a certain “limit” or taking up too much of their space, they can delete your account without warning. But isn’t that WHY we buy paid accounts?! WTSHITFLICKR? I won’t be renewing my account. They might delete me just because I’m “harassing their staff” by telling other people of their actions. There are quite a few people whose accounts have been deleted based on the actions of OTHERS. Meaning, someone stole their photos or hacked and they get the boot without ANY investigation. RAGH. Pisses me off.”

November 19, 2008 @ 1:09 am

OMG, awww! I’d feel better if I got all those kawaii treats, too! =3;
Hehe, I wish I had a penpal in Japan, but whenever I try to make Japanese friends online, they’re always men who just want to … Ayaiii … Just want to ‘webcam’ with me. ‘PERVERT!’ I always end up all-caps screaming at them. e_e
And it’s started snowing here in Ontario a whole bunch, too! It’s so pretty the way it sticks on all the branches of the trees. ^o^

Surprises FTW!!
Wow. That’s really cold…when compared to California weather. I’m thinking about doing an internship in the DC area within the next few years hopefully and it looks like I’m going to have to avoid the winter since I can’t survive too well in the cold…
November 20, 2008 @ 11:13 am
I love the way the catalogue is set out, that is so cute
November 24, 2008 @ 1:28 am
