8 Years of Sadness & Anger… Gone

Tuesday, 1/20 [2009] // 30 Comments

Thank you Leanne!

From SNL a few months ago

In unrelated news a lot of people asked to see what my new hair bow looked like in. So here it is in a pretty un-fancy hair bun~~

I bought it at Amuse. It was only $1.98!! I probably should have bought a few in different colors I guess. That store reminds me of a more expensive slightly less cool Paris Kids. But hey, even a slight resemblance is nice They’ve carried some pretty cute stuff like these earmuffs and other stuff.

I forgot to mention that after having watched a full morning of the inauguration get underway, the GE guy who was supposed to show up at 8 am to fix the dishwasher rang the doorbell the second Obama was about to set foot on stage!!!!! Around 12:00! THANK GOD FOR DVR & ONE BUTTON RECORDING!

The whole Bush situation started when I was in 5th grade, haha. And took until my freshman year of college to correct.

But, thank goodness he’s GONE.

Go Obama!!!!!!!

His speech was AMAZING. That man has one hell of a way with words.

AHHHHHHHH WOOO!!!! I tried to stay up til 3am for it because that’s when it started local time~ I saw when he went to church, decided to take a nap and woke up straight after the speech! WAAA So I didn’t see it live but still it’s such a great moment in history!

Wahahha the video is totally awesome, there’s this other one where they Photoshopped him and McCain on these hip hoppers

Love the bow and the earmuffs! I wish it was cold enough to wear those, gah! I should move to the US, haha.

Wow 8 years. That’s like about half of my life!

I was at work and school at day so I missed out on everything! I just got home and went straight for his speech online. I love listening to his speeches; they’re so inspiring and powerful. Haha I should save it on my ipod since I barely have any music.

*claps like a seal* AHAHA, OBAMA -RICKROLL’D.

But, seriously, for some reason, it doesn’t really feel like everything’s better yet. Maybe it’ll start to sink in when I see some action…If he extends unemployment or gives us all a usable stimulus check.

Oh! I LOVE your red bow!! It’s very cute!! Now I have to go and look for one as well XD Pity I don’t have my long hair now though. Hm. =P

I only got to watch 5 minutes of it on television before rushing to school. =P But the 5 minutes of it was amazing as all he’s speeches are.

Limited Poupee cat items should release in 10 mins unless I read wrong~ so I'm just waiting. I kind of dread this weekend. Constant rain is gonna screw with all my plans (which were of course outdoors.) *fail* I wanted to go to the Kite Festival but looks like it might get rained out...
