Tea and Polish

I saw I hadn’t updated since last Tuesday and thought,
“Well that just won’t do!”
A little update. Today I received two packages.
One of which was from Anna! We did a tea exchange! Everything arrived so perfectly pretty in the package I almost didn’t want to remove the tea to sit them into the cupboard.

The other package I received today I’ll try to post soon too :)
This weekend I splurged on some new cosmetics. Karme got me obsessed with a Dior lip gloss by the name of “No Angel.” I tried it on at Nordstrom’s and really loved it. It’s mostly clear with a hint of pale pink sheen and tons of sparkle. Mike said it added a healthy summer look so I got it. While checking out though I spotted the new YSL Rose Baby Doll nail color.
Last week I was moaning I needed a new shade of red. Just something warmer! AND THERE IT WAS. This is my first YSL polish. I quickly slapped it on today and like the formula and flat brush. It goes on in 1 coat a dries decently enough. Not quickly but quick enough that it’s not an issue for my usual nail routine.

The color is SO hard to capture in a pic but it’s so perfect. I mean seriously I feel connected to this shade on a spiritual level I looooooove it. It’s a warm coral red but not too pink but not too rich in red. I think “ruby red grapefruit” when I look at it.
Very happy :)

Ettusais x Swati Lip Essence
Friday, May. 3, 2013 | 9 Comments

I really like the Ettusais lip essence (stick) items. They’re sheer and moisturizing with a great little package. I got this one courtesy of Yesstyle. This particular version is a collaboration with the Japanese brand Swati. They added their designs to the tube.

The lip balm is sheer but has a pinkish sheen to it. They’re always moisturizing but not too sticky or thick and lasts for a long time. Works well on top of matte lipsticks too! Just a really great and simple lip balm.
