Shu Uemura Accent Lashes in Action (53)

Saw this in Ranzuki! It’s Suzu wearing the Shu Uemura star accent lashes I was wanting recently! SO HAPPY! I was wondering what they looked like on!

I haven’t been online much to respond to comments or blog surf. I was a little busy this weekend despite the nonstop rain. Then today daylight savings, I think, killed me even though I went to bed an hour earlier than usual. I had such a horrible migraine today! I got home from work and slept it off. But now I feel so behind on some things I wanted to do. I really want to scan in a bunch of stuff from Popteen and Ageha! I want to share it on my Tumblr.

I love that you can set things to post during certain times! So I can set things I want to share to post while I’m at work or asleep! SWEET!

Oh, and got my last subscription issue of Ageha this weekend. So if you live near Taiga Books and you see “Ageha” on the New Arrivals list it’s no longer put aside for me and is instead up for sale on the stands!

Went to H&M this weekend. Ended up buying this cheap bohemian style headband. Figured why not~ I like how they fit and look. I like it worn loose like in this pic, haven’t tried across the forehead just yet with it.

They had braided hair headbands too but none matched my color. Some people suggested Sephora’s $10 braided headbands too! I didn’t get to see these in person yet but the online pictures looking disappointing in matching my bizarre blondish-brown hair color, LOL. I’ll check them out though, maybe next week!

Also, any US people see H&M’s “Garden Collection” in stores yet? Their website is still saying “late March” and eluding to “March 18th” but I know internationally it’s been seen already.

Spring Shopping (50)

Since I don’t plan on ordering anything from 109 or WC (for however long that lasts, lol) I started buying a few spring items!! They’re finally in store and I’m just too excited to contain myself! I got a few things this past week + weekend.

The Tops

I loved this the moment I saw it!

I didn’t buy it right away.

I tried not to buy it at all, but when I tried it on I just had to have it.

I want to match it with my new khaki shorts. I’m going to take this to Japan since we’ll be going in the burning summer!!

I’ve tried on a lot of them to be honest, but I liked this one and when I saw it was only $9 I went ahead and bought it, LOL.

I’ve missed my gold paint wall!
In the winter no sunlight comes in so I forget how pretty the paint is. Thankfully the sun’s been out for days! And it’s still in the low 60’s! Maybe all the snow will melt this week

Onto the shoes. OK, I bought a number of shoes… Three to be exact. A pair of short cowboy boots, some new black heels, and some flip flops.

It was when I got the patchwork denim. I decided to snag them this weekend!!

I’m really happy I did! I took them to work today to break them in. They’re soft, but sturdy. And they don’t slip off my feet when I try to walk.

I like the height. Taller than kitten heels but not a stiletto so I could see myself wearing these for long shopping hours! Ho~ ho~ ho~ I have high hopes for these heels.

I want them to replace my pink heels as my “comfy heel.”

The pretty pattern insole is my own, not H&M’s. I put insoles in most all my shoes

I really, reaaaaaaally wanted something like this LAST SUMMER after seeing a pretty pair from Alba Rosa. Well no luck last year.

So I thought I’d pick these up when I saw them. My favorite pair of black flip flops are wearing thin, so maybe these will be comfy and matchable enough to take their place.

There’s a trend here really. I’m having to replace some of my old clothes. Either for fit or just wear ‘n tear. Speaking of I got my Free People dress back today!! It fits great! Though a tad more fitted in the shoulders than I’m used to. It’s OK, I’m just used to loose clothing, LOL. The fitted shoulders really give it nice straight lines. Plus now the skirt is fuller on the bottom because she only took in the sides! YES! I love it.

I took a few snaps but on my blackberry, real tiny too because they’re really meant to mail to my friend. No worries, I’ll be wearing this outfit sometimes soon again!
