Lights OUT
Sunday, May 29th, 2005 | 9 Comments
It stormed today and we lost power. There was golf-balled sized hail too pegging my poor car. So, during the 3 hours of darkness I got very bored and VERY hot =____=;;. No AC or fans. I was prepared for the power outage like always. I light candles whenever I see a bad storm coming.

I made an origami carp to entertain myself in the dark. I figured a carp was right since it looked like we’d be underwater soon from the storm.

It was SO hot, I was glad I had my fan nearby.

Later tonight, Mike and I went through my change banks to see how much I had. I figured I’d have maybe $10.00 …. we counted it and the grand total is $59.00. o_o just crazy!! I’m so happy! I haven’t been able to spend ANY money thanks to my medical bills. Mike suggests to use it on things to make me happy. I dunno, maybe? I really should put it toward my chiropractor bill. SIGH. We’ll see.
SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW NOOOOOOOOOOOO~

59 dollars
hmm spend 30 bucks on happy stuff and 29 on medical stuff :X haa
59$ !?!? I’m motivated to start my own piggy bank .. usually my coins are just scattered across the carpet in my room, in a jeans pocket, just neglected … but not anymore! haha, $59!?!?
i would suggest buying 1 thing, then putting the rest towards the bill..
school -__-
I’ve had tons of school.
I hate blackouts. Like.. with a passion.
Do you like blackouts? If so, your lucky! WE had horrible weather like that here and we never had a blackout! And it’s also great that you discovered how much change you really had! Once, my dad kept all the change in a baby wipes box, and it turned out to be around $75 in the end!
Awww, sorry about your lights going out…. this is my first time here and I just wanted to compliment how super cute your site is! I’m jealous!
Your piggy bank looks like a Chinese take-out box.
