Not Wide-Awake, Just awake

Maybe I can’t sleep because of the impromptu 3 hour nap I had today, or maybe I’m just too excited about picking up Smash Brothers Brawl first thing tomorrow… O_O We early pre-ordered and got stuck with practically the only game store that isn’t doing a midnight launch 
. Maybe my sad geekiness is showing too much, but I can’t help it. When Melee came out in college I played it nonstop. I’d skip class to stay home & play! And that was back before online play! It was when I had to get real people to come over & play. Which thankfully in a huge college student apartment complex wasn’t much of a challenge. I could go on, but I’ll spare everyone from the video game bordem :ladeeda:
I receive a fabulous package from my best friend in Japan Thursday! She sent an adorable はんなり豆腐 cell phone cozy!
She’s so awesome 
She sent some hina-matsuri (Japanese doll festival,) snacks too which I’ve already devoured of course. Wahahah I’m spoiled

I’m going to go try to fall asleep again. I’m sure it’ll be successful. Either way it’s not like I have to be up early. Also (for those it concerns) it’s daylight savings today! Time to “spring-forward.”

When I get home from Uni I feel so exhausted and I force myself not to nap because I know it’ll effect my sleep (which I’m already struggling to fall asleep at night). I envy people who can sleep on call =.=;

MAJOR props to your last two posts, so fun to read. HAI~ Ageha is great because it celebrates the extravagant commercialism, hime + gyaru = glamour beyond measure. It’s so fun to be part of it rather than just reading snooty articles or watching documentaries about “those crazy people over in Japan”
I admit just the word ‘host’ makes me interested in something. Especially when it’s being applied to a man…

omgosh supersmash bros is AMAZING!! I’ve never played the other versions, i’ve only played the very very first version, classic, supersmash bros for nintendo 64 and i love it still.

We went to the midnight opening and they had a small tournament… then we stayed up playing at our friends. I still can’t really get into smash bros. though, I never played any of the previous ones and I’m always asking questions on what is what with the new one T-T

I gotta get that game eventually. It’s too awesome… I recently got a Wii and it’s taking over the household! I never had a Gamecube, so i was never really good at the old one, but i was pretty obsessed. =P

I heard that the game might not work on a small percentage of Wii’s because of a flaw.. that would suck if it was yours since you’ve been waiting for it. *Knock on wood. The good thing is that you can get it fixed for free. Hehe.

That tofu thingy for your cell phone is so cute!! i’ve seen a lot of those here in Hong Kong but I never have the urge to buy one because I don’t know where to place it! hahaha.. I guess it’s because I’m a messy person, so if I buy one thing it’ll just be left aside or somewhere at the junk box.
