Thank You Everyone

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008 | 41 Comments

I really appreciate everyone’s support. Today I went to the dentist and got some 100% oxygen along with my dental work. Maybe it’ll help speed up my carbon monoxide healing! HOPE SO! The added anxiety of having to go to the dentist today did NOT make things easier. But I did it! I got 2 fillings and a crown done. I’m used to fillings, but this whole crown/cap thing is new & terrifying!! So now I have a temporary crown and in 2 weeks my permanent crown will be ready. As the Novocaine wears off my crowned tooth is KILLING MEEEEE

however….

CHRISTMAS IS SO SOON!

on our tree~~

I’m excited for the time off and food & presents & knowing others are OPENING the presents I sent & our Christmas Day plans of strolling the city &, &, & YEA! BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!

You are soo brave!!! I’m terrified to have anything done to my teeth, except a basic cleaning… O.o

Hope you feel better for Christmas!!!

Hahaha, well, I’m glad to see that the holiday spirit has gotten a hold of you It’s best to preoccupy yourself with what you love to do, so the depression doesn’t effect you too much. And just by getting out of the house helps.

Wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year

Oh! I almost forgot. You are very brave at the dentist LOL. I have had a horrible experience the last time I got my fillings. Still trying to suppress the unpleasant memory

I hope your pain goes away before x’mas! =)

Wow, a crown? My dentist once insisted me to have a crown on one of my teeth but it was too pricey so I didn’t do it. Sounds very painful though. >____

I have four crowns, countless fillings, and five crowns total since the 3rd grade. Yeah, I had really bad teeth and it was a horrible experience. But now I have to get my four replaced because they simply won’t do… =/ But now it’s all better for you! =)

Hope you get better soon so you get to have a wonderful Christmas!

I am sorry to hear about your illness and that really sucks that you had to deal with that for no good reason! I am excited for christmas, but we are snowed in and so it is up in the air whether or not we can get together with family, it really sucks.

I just wanted you to know that I just started my own blog, beware, it is new as of today, lol. Please let me know what you think!

Oh man, a temporary crown. I hope yours works better than mine. My temporary crown made my tooth so sensitive, I couldn’t eat out of that side of my mouth until the permanent one was put in.

Oooo, I’m excited to hear about your Christmas! One nice thing about living away from family- no one’s houses to go to! I’ll be looking forward to that NEXT year

My dentist’s name is Doc Savage and he has this giant poster of the Doc Savage movie behind his table. It has this big beefy guy ripping a part a snake and stabbing some bad guy….

… yeah… not comforting…

yay~ it’s almost christmas.
ugh.. the dentist….it scares me..
i had to get more than 6 numbings on my jaw because i had to get a root canal and the numbing wouldn’t take effect!
after an agonizing hour of numbing… drilling… stopping… me crying out in pain.. numbing again.. drilling again… etc., they said if my root canal doesn’t hurt then i should leave it alone.. so here i am. with braces and a root canal. booo.. >:0

Good God, at least you’re still happy near Christmas even though your teeth are all wonky. I’d find it so hard to be cheerful because I probably won’t be able to eat anything… which I personally think is the true point of Christmas.
