Back in DC

I’m back! Pretty obvious if you follow my twitter. I had such a great trip. Relatively drama-free and warm and just… fun! So having that 1,000 miles back between me & my family feels bittersweet. Usually I’m dying to get back to DC, but not this time~~ 
It didn’t help that 2 packages I had been expecting to be waiting for me weren’t here!! UGGGGGGGGGH!! My Christmas gift from my bff in Japan is no where to be found. We both contacted our post offices and were both told that the holidays, snow, and attempted plane bombing has delayed mail greatly. So hopefully it’ll arrive this coming week.
My other package was an order of circle lenses. I ordered them on the 12th but contacted the company who didn’t send them out til the 23rd =___=;;
. They said it could take up to 12 business days to be delivered so I’ll give them another week before demanding a refund. There are so many freakin’ circle lens online shops! I wasn’t sure which to go with seeing that just about everyone uses a different shop. 
The extra frustration comes from the fact that I need prescription lenses. Not just plano 0.0. To make it WORSE I need varying prescriptions for each eye! UGH! I only found about 2 or 3 sites that:
1: offered prescription lenses up to my highest strength needed -9.00
2: offered the option to choose a prescription for each eye.
My left eye is -8.50 and my right is -9.00 :F
Sigh. They were kinda a whim Christmas gift to myself and nothing a really “needed.” I’ve just wanted to try some for a long time but it used to be impossible to find them in the higher prescription strengths. Any one else in my same situation have a good circle lens site they’ve used? 
Anyway. I’ll try not stress about these things I have NO CONTROL OVER. Instead, here are a few more photos from my vacation at Disney & at my family’s on New Year’s~~

I love going home for New year’s because fireworks and pit fires are all still legal! HAHAHAAA
My Dad bought some magical fire color sprinkle dust that turns the fire aqua blue.

My Dad actually ran back in to buy this too, hahahaa!
We got to the car with our loot then he said, “I’ll be right back” and came out holding this monster firework cannon!!
I love the holidays~~~~~ 
I said my Dad loves fireworks but Mike thinks it’s only because, despite being 26, I still run around dancing and creaming like a 5 year old when it comes to fireworks! Haahaa. It’s true~ I do.

I was wondering what online store you order your circle lenses in. I have different prescription for my eyes, and I don’t really want to buy two pairs of the same thing…just because I don’t want to wear plano!

I didn’t want to post them because I’m worried I might even receive my contacts so I wouldn’t recommend them. If I receive them I’ll post the link b/c I’ll know they’re trustworthy!

good luck on the lenses, I bought mine from japanesecandy…and it took about a month or more to get mine….and that was in fall….i hope you like them, I know i do i’m just lazy…
btw theres nothing wrong dancing and screaming like a 5 year old over fireworks, I know I do!
Yea I was looking at that shop. I wish they’d let you choose a different prescription for each eye though. I really don’t want to order 2 pairs of the same set just to have the proper prescriptions~ but maybe I will if these don’t come through for me =T

If you have a hard time getting circle lenses, you can try getting Freshkon contacts instead? Usually carries in “asian” optical stores. They’re more common and easier to get and probably safer too. And on me, I think they give the same look as Circle lenses.
You could also try this site: http://sites.google.com/site/meigoshop/ They offer prescription lens, free intl shipping, and free tracking number too. I haven’t ordered from them yet but am going to soon ^-^

Some packages actually arrived earlier than expected for my family, and they got soaked in some rain! :(
I love Disney theme parks… I honestly feel like they are the happiest place on Earth, and it shows in your pictures
I this most of the girls will screaming and dancing while the fireworks blast off!

Oh no, I hope you get your gift from your friend in Japan soon. I hate getting things lost in the mail and I was worried that my order that I made on a Japanese website would get lost too. Luckily I got a notice on my door to tell me to pick up my package on the 31st!
Cricle lenses. I’ve always wanted to try those but I’m scared because I don’t like putting things in my eyes. =/ I’m near sighted and I wear glasses, but they are only reading glasses. I rarely ever wear them out other than when I’m in school.

I know, there are so many places to get circle lenses that it can be hard to know which is the best site.
I have heard that http://www.pinkyparadise.com is good.

I should of gone when we went to HK - shame we didn’t /depressed.
MAN, postage really sucks sometimes … we had a postal strike around Christmas,
so all our packages started coming through just last week! Hopefully your gifts and lenses
appear soon!
ALSO: Let me know about your lenses! I’m looking into getting a pair too - although I am not a fan of contacts, I’ve always wanted to try out circle lenses. JUST BECAUSE I CAN.

http://circlelens2u.com/ I bought from these guys. Got to me within a little over a week. They have some lenses that go up to your prescription. Also you have to order 2 lenses to make a pair on their site. Since you have two diff prescriptions you just order one and then go back and order the other. They have directions on the site. It’s kinda funky and you can only order in IE but they have stuff that other places don’t and they will respond to your emails.
It sucks but http://prettyandcute.com/ had a huge selection of lenses and they all of a sudden stopped selling them =/ They also had some of the fastest shipping… arg.

Sorry to hear about the packages, that sucks. I hope it comes soon, it’d be terrible if they lost it :( I understand about the prescription thing, it’s so annoying my eyes are like -1.25 difference and I can’t be bothered getting coloured contacts or putting prescriptions in my sunglasses because it’s so frustrating. I was thinking of getting the Lasik thing but I’m so scared! :S

GOD YES!!!!!! All the time actually. Well, not ALL the time since I try not to think about it b/c it bums me out. I just try to remind myself 30 is the new 20! hahahahaaa! Also, old lady models like Kate Moss still dress young and trendy so why can’t I when I’m 30, 40, 50! Ha!
