The Doctor: Course you’re not, look at you! Box falls out of the sky, man falls out of a box, man eats fish custard! And look at you… just sitting there. So you know what I think?

I guess I should spout a bit about Doctor Who since it’s not well known that I’m a total obsessed fan! Of course unless you follow my Tumblr… then it’s pretty obvious! Finally BBC America aired the first episode with the 11th Doctor~~~~ :iiface:
I loved Tennant but Smith is pretty strong straight out of the fresh blue box!! :ohyeslovely: I still have reservations of the Twilight-i-fication since the characters seem so young~ :rejected: but they’re quickly fading~ Amy’s background story is so heart-breaking and beautiful. :skull: And technically they’re in my age-range so I’ll get used to it~ :tv:

I haven’t been outside today at all, haahaa! :skipping: Except to water the plants. :kissyfaceheart: I was productive as crap inside though! I cleaned up a bunch of clothes from my closet that I hadn’t worn in a year’s time. Built some IKEA boxes and organized my winter boots (packing some away already.) And did laundry too~
Not very exciting I suppose but it was nice. I like Sunday’s to be quiet sometimes. Helps me recharge for the coming week. :fleetheart:
I mentioned 4 weeks ago I bought L’Oreal Paris Lash Boosting Serum. It’s suppose to be a 4 week challenge thing so that’s the time I gave it before coming to a conclusion.
My thoughts?

I can actually tell a difference especially when I apply my mascara. :lovelymake: I’ve got some thickening on top and bottom. They’re growing out a bit longer too! You’re supposed to apply it twice a day so I did mornings & nights. My only quibble with the stuff is the claim you can wear it under your mascara. You can, that’s true, but not well. :rejected: It’s a bit hard to apply mascara after you’ve applied the serum (and let dry) because it causes clumping. :eep: The only mascara I could actually happily wear with it was my L’Oreal Double Extend fiber mascara. But I will say just wearing the serum alone and curling your lashes looks nice. hehe I found my lashes stayed curled all day when I had just the serum on. Interesting~
Now prepare yourself for the eyeball pictures. I’m not a fan of eyeball pics but how else can I really show the results~~~ :facecry: LOL
Using mascara on my bottom lashes is almost too much now! :lovelymake: Tarantula eye! Haahaaa!
I wonder if results will keep coming or if 4 weeks equals the extent of the results you’ll see? :snot: I’ll find out! I totally plan on re-buying this stuff! :good: I might just apply only at nights though and maybe on mornings I don’t wear mascara :) :okicon:
Decided this weekend to finally grow my bangs out~ :excitedyo:
Been toying with the idea for a few months now~ I haven’t grown them out in years. I love bangs, I love how they look… when I can get them to look good. :rubeyes: But they’re so high maintenance for my thin hair and take so much time styling I’m just sorta over them. But the main reason is how often I don’t think they’re doing my face any favors! Haahaa! I worry about growing them out because I have such a big forehead :;_;: and oval face :madmark:, but many days I don’t think the bangs are helping with that either! :facepalmcry: Haahaaaa! :laughingheart: :dizzy:
If I hate it I’ll just get them re-cut~ no worries~ :skipping:

i should give the lash booster a try. i use to use this other japanese brand one… can’t remember the name for some odd reason. it was fairly good but half way I became lazy and stopped using it XD -

Aw you are going to grow out your bangs? That’s cool. I always grow mine out and then decide that i want a change and get bangs again lol. So I only grow them out in order to chop them off soon after. haha :P -

It’s amazing how that serum actually worked! No false advertising there! Your eyelashes look great. Ahah I’m growing out my bangs too (but mostly because I am lazy)~

WOW the difference in your eyelashes is pretty amazing! =O Especially your bottom ones! Luckily, the only thing “right” on my face is my eyelashes. They’re pretty thick and very long. My only issue with them is they hate to stay curled! Easily remedied with a blow dryer to the curler, though!
Your laundry room must be SO NICE! Our washer and dryer are in a little closet off the kitchen :( No room for anything! D: I know what you mean about Sundays being quiet, though. My weekends are generally Wednesday & Thursday & I really like at least one of those to a nice, quiet day ^_^
Conan seems to have lost a lot of weight! & speaking of comedians, this post reminded me to get tickets for Hal Sparks in August! Woohoo! :D

The difference with the serum is soooo amazing! But I also think it’s a bit much. I like the “after” picture with the closed eyeball picture… but quite honestly, with mascara I think it’s a little… like me when I didn’t know how to apply mascara. LOL. It’s also seeming like, instead of natural length, it’s the application of TOO MUCH MASCARA that creates the long eyelash look. Anyways, thanks for the review! I think I will purchase this because I have really short eyelashes that never curl no matter what! Hahaha…

i’m growing my bangs out, too D: and i also have a big forehead/oval face so…hahaa i’m nervous about it but!! it’s time for something new. besides, i think hair without bangs is just easier to take care of because bangs ARE so high maintenance -_-;
the results from the serum are AWESOME…i wouldn’t have expected it to work so well!

I saw it on the big screen at C2E2 a comic con that came to Chicago this weekend which I’ll probably blog about today. It was amazing we got to go to a private screening at see the first two episodes. I’m sad now because I dont have bbc on my cable, and for some reason my cable messed up PBS so I can’t get to watch the previous who either, bollocks!
anyway, I really like that serum stuff I might have to trry!! Cute hair, I love the bangs, but at least growing them out isn’t as irreversible as getting them cut, do you have a new hair arrange in mind without bangs?

OMG…I love Dr. Who! I’ve been waiting for the premiere for such a long time. I had reservations before watching this episode since I was such a big fan of David Tennant as the 10th Doctor (He was my 1st Doctor, since I started watching the show when he was already the Doctor). But I really think Matt Smith did a great job, I’m looking forward to the next episode. Well enough fangirling.

I think Matt Smith is doing a really great job, Christopher Ecleston is technically my Doctor but I like to think it’s David Tennant!! It was his 39th Birthday yesterday I was like “WOW looking good for 39!” ^_~Cause you live in America I am guessing your only on the first episode then?
Well I can see you really liking the next one it’s great, the third episode is ok in my opinion I am so looking forward to the up coming fourth episode though!!!! It’s gunna be sooo scary ^_^

Ahh! I used serum for lashes before but I was really too lazy to keep doing it for so many weeks daily haha! Now I want to start again to get longer lashes ^^;;

Best post, because I love Doctor Who and Conan. I did have my doubt about the new Doctor, because Tennant was just brilliant. I started watching the show because of him. But I have to say the new Doctor seems to be a good fit also. I can’t wait for the next episode.

I really hope they have more fish custard in upcoming episodes! I seriously thought it looked VERY appetizing (or maybe I was just hungry when I was watching? It’s on my menu for dinner tonight so I’ll find out!). I wish they had someone older as the Doctor, but Smith seems to have good potential (but it looks like he has no eyebrows sometimes which freaks me out).
The lash serum worked so well on you! I got it a few months ago but it made by eyes sting a bit so I stopped using it. I wish it worked for me so I could get tarantula eyes too!!!

My trick for longer eyelashes is just to apply mascara twice. Sounds a bit dumb, but it works pretty well for me. With any mascara, I don’t really have a favorite, but I love waterproof ones, specially in summer or when I know I’m gonna cry XD (going to the movies, when I have the flu…)
I should try the bow tutorial. I’m not a big fan of that kind of scars, it looks cute, so I should give it a try!

I should try the lash serum. I don’t know, I could never live without bangs. lol, no matter how long my bangs are, I always end up cutting them. I just don’t sit well without bangs. :P

Yay for Doctor Who! I actually only liked David Tennant as Doctor Who and couldn’t imagine liking a new guy but… I was wrong. But the new guy is great! I adore him :) I’m still not sold on Amelia yet but that’s only cos her acting is a bit wobbly at times. She has the most gorgeous coloured hair though ;)
