Tearful Circle Lenses From Yesstyle

New contacts!
Tearful Circle Grey Lenses!

It’s been a few months since I’ve had a “new” pair but it feels great!
I got these from Yesstyle.com. They’re this pair to be exact.
They started selling lenses a few months. They’re set up so that you add to your cart 1 lens at a time. So if you’re like me and have a different prescription in each eye you can easily order a pair to match that. These actually are available up to strength -9.50!

I got these grey GEO lenses (also known as GEO CM-839) because I wanted something more natural looking but still adding an extra “pop” to my eye color. These have a more subtle enlarging effect but it’s still there. [example shot of that!] It’s soften with the outer circle color of gray (grey.) It’s also dot printed that let’s some of your own natural color come through. Because the enlarging effect is softened, I feel these lenses really can be worn with less heavy eye makeup looks. With my larger lenses I always wear heavy eye makeup including fake lashes or else I think the lenses look too big & stand out too much.

I was actually wearing them in this photo I posted a few days ago.

The teardrop effects along the side aren’t as obvious so no worries of people staring wondering what the specs are! They really do play off as a sorta glossy look especially in a natural light setting.

However, my favorite thing about these Tearful Circle Lenses? COMFORT! These are, not only the most comfortable GEOS I have, but the most comfortable colored lenses I own! Even more comfortable than my favorite pair of Barbie brand lenses! I think it must be due to the fact it’s not a fully printed colored lenses. The majority of the lens is clear like a daily wear lens.

Yesstyle added a few free samples too including a BB Cream free sample which I’m excited to try! It’s MISSHA brand BB Cream (the current brand I’m using) but a different series! A contact case is also included.

I actually wore these to work last Friday, all day. Just a few eye-drops during the day and I was good to go! It’s great to have a pair of lenses now I can mix into my “office hours” when I get bored of wearing just my clear daily contact lenses.

Another shot of them in that’s brighter so you can get a better idea of the blending on green/hazel eyes. For a shot of the enlarging effect (1 lens in 1 lens out, click here!) I’ll be wearing these a lot!

I’m glad I got gray. It ended up blending better than I had imagined. The outer rim of my iris is already a sort of bluish gray so I’m quite pleased! I wouldn’t mind getting the light brown versions of these from Yesstyle.com either. Since I have some other brown lenses that mix pretty well with my greenish brown gray eyes (oh the mixture!) I think these would look just great too~

anyways this is no hipster blog…on to the fashion

I have been debating getting some off of yesstyle they seems like a pretty reputable site, I got my first pair on LJ…but hey I havent gone blind yet!

anyways I really like those, they are not overwhelming, or make you look like a baby kat, they are just intense like a sexy tiger…

I dont know whats up with my animal analogies today…i think im just hungry :/

  2. zoraida says:

ohhh yay you updated! i was checking to see if you had replied to all your other comments lol

but now i can’t stop staring into your eyes *3*

    • jenny says:

Haahaa replying to comments is crazy time-consuming omg! But I’m trying really hard lately to be good & hit everyone I can :D

  3. Shirley says:

Pretty! I have yet to try circle lenses but these look super natural on you~
You’re like the queen of circle lenses…and false lashes haha

    • jenny says:

Haahaa, I wouldn’t say queen but I do own about 8 pairs of colored lenses I think? All different brands & styles :)

  4. ミッカ says:

Like I said before, those contact lenses look really nice on you! Because they pop-out, without giving a completely “contact lenses” fake effect~ :D LOVE it! I’ll be sure to check those out, thanks for the link and tips~

  5. Becky says:

Those contacts look so great on you!
Very natural & makes your eyes pop!
Plus the scarf wrap suits you well in that pic :)

  6. haneul says:

how nice. If only I didn’t have really bad eyesight and stigmatism, i would try wearing circle lens.. TT_TT. but you look beautiful wearing those. :)

    • jenny says:

Awe that’s too bad. I know mine isn’t great at -9.00 but my astigmatism is only slightly bad (being worse in my right eye) so I don’t wear correcting lenses for them. I do have “reading glasses” to go on top of my contacts for when I’m on the computer or my eyes are tired but I’m not able to change out of contacts into glasses.

  7. aisyah de cullen says:

haha..why oh why is the name a complete contradiction to how it actually feels on the eye? I thought you were going to rant about a ridiculously painful circle lenses. I was wrong..haha..
Anyway, you look pretty with those lenses. I’m glad that the color blend well with ur original eye color. I had terrible shock two days ago when I met a friend at a mall. We Malays, normally have dark brown eye color. And she went ahead and wore an acid green eye color (i’m not sure she’s going for the Star Wars look, but it did sort of…happened..XD) The color didn’t blend at all..so I am quite apprehensive in getting a circle lens myself, fearing it would too..fake? idk..haha..

    • jenny says:

Oh those vivid green ones! With the sort of color burst?! Those are getting crazy popular among Japanese models right now. I like both natural and fake looking but I can understand why people would prefer natural looking color rather than drastic change.

  8. sukipooki says:

awesome lenses! You looks so cute with them on! Too bad I’ve got that asthigmatisim? in both eyes so I can’t wear coloured lenses BOO!!!

    • jenny says:

Awe that blows! My astigmatism isn’t too severe, only a little blurry, so I can just wear normal prescription contact lenses to correct my eyesight and I just ignore correcting my astigmatism except when wearing glasses. My astigmatism did get a little worse in recent years so I have reading glasses for wearing with my contacts if it starts to bother me =Y I HAVE seen some astigmatism colored contacts though but I’ve never tried them.

  9. Kaisu says:

Those look really good! Nice enlargement but still very natural, like them! Maybe gonna try them out, I want more lenses haha XD

    • jenny says:

I always want more lenses too! Haahaa, *high five! There’s just so many kinds and colors and designs~ I’m glad I could finally try out a natural looking pair since most of mine are more unnatural :P

  10. Miya says:

gorgeous!!! i have a similar eye color to you so I am REALLY intrigued and you say they are comfy too?! I must get a pair!!! I like that they are subtle but still enhancing.

    • jenny says:

They are, seriously! I have 2 other pairs of GEO lenses and I can only wear them for a few hours, like 2 hours, before they become too uncomfortable, but these… they basically felt like my daily wears, just a little drier so I of course had my eyedrops on me :D

  11. Tori says:

They look totally natural on you, bb! I honestly never would have guessed you were wearing lenses in that code picture from before, though I will admit I thought your eyes looked more striking than usual, haha! XD

    • jenny says:

Right, right! I think it gives that look of “I know something’s different about you, something’s shining, but I’m not sure what!” Because the day I wore them to work I never had so many doors & elevators held or conversations with strangers in 1 day, I think it’s the eyes, I kid you NOT, LOOOOL *sounded vain but it was unusual!*

  12. Genevieve says:

Coloured contacts almost make me wish I needed to wear eye-wear all day! All I have are reading glasses which I almost never wear ;) oh well! very cool! :)

    • jenny says:

Oh but please, do feel lucky you have the option of NOT wearing lenses daily, trust me :D. It’s easier to find circle lenses in plano (or non-prescription) than in prescription so if you ever thought about trying them out you’d have your pick of the litter!

  13. Melissy ♥ says:

    So pretty!! ♥
They look really natural on you too and make your eyes stand out so much~ ^_^

  14. I have been thinking about getting colored ones (or like these, that makes your eyes slightly bigger) but still haven’t dared since I wear contacts (clear ones) daily I need to get mine with strength. I have no idea what the numbers on my prescription means or how I know the size of my “eyeball” if that matters. Care to help? ^_^’

    • jenny says:

Sure I can help! Your strength is going to be both on the contact lenses box and on the little bottle or capsule your lens comes in. It’ll look something like “-X.XX” Mine’s “-9.00.”

The other numbers are diameter (size) and base curve radius for your lenses. These can vary from contact to contact and aren’t as important as your prescription numbers. In general, most contact wears can wear different base curves and diameters without notice. However some people have more specific eyes and are only comfortable in a certain base curve or diameter. The base curve looks like this “8.6mm” and diameter can be between “14mm” to “16mm.” I’d highly recommend going no larger than 14mm for your first pair of circle lenses. Make sure you like them before trying a larger 14.5mm or 15mm lens.

It would probably be best to match up your first circle lenses to the numbers for your dailies. So, I would need a lens that’s 14mm in diameter, with a base curve of 8.6, and the strength of -9.00. I’ve personally tried lenses that are 15mm with a base curve of 8.4 and they fit fine! And of course if you’re really worried about “all those numbers” take the numbers of a lens you want to try to your eye doctor. And lastly, these lenses shouldn’t be worn as long as long as you might wear daily lenses. They let less oxygen through. I rarely go over 6 hours when wearing circles lenses. And you’ll want to start off low, about 2 hours of wear, at first just to get used to them :). It sorta can feel like putting in contacts for the first time again :D

  15. sidney says:

ok seriously you ARE just showing off with your non-stop blogging…how do you do it??? *jealous~ haha

waaa you make me want circ. lenses so badly T T i have a positive prescription (about +6) and they NEVER have them in my strength…they’re like this mythical thing that i will never be able to wear. oh well! at least you look so cute in yours! i LOVE these ones on you, they really are subtle but still give you that POP that you want~

    • jenny says:

You’re far sighted!? You’re a rare breed :OO. Well, you’re not missing out on much. I cycle in & out of wearing my circle lenses. I’ll get really obsessed & wear them daily after work or I’ll stop altogether for a few weeks, LOL.

  16. Courtney says:

They look great! Super natural–I couldn’t even tell at first. ^_^b

    • jenny says:

Sweet! Yea, at first I think “oh no, you couldn’t?” But it’s good, it’s good! Not too obvious so I can wear them a lot~ Maybe I’ll wear them at my parents house for the holidays? Naaah I’ll bring these AND some bright vivid ones and be all FLASHY :D I welcome their criticism & staring hahahahaa

      • Courtney says:

hahahahahha!! It is so good to be beyond caring about your parents picking on your style. At least, it is still new to me and I love it!

Well, the picture with one-in-one-out is obvious, I just mean unlike a lot of circle lenses it’s like…a subtle touch of drama…if that makes any sense?? Whereas I feel like most circle lenses are like a transformation!

  17. cin says:

oh i didnt notice you were wearing lenses in the facebook photo! :O looks so natural!

  18. Ys says:

I love my glasses too much to wear contacts ;) I just think glasses are kinda sexy hehehe.

  19. Deso says:

Ohh I love these! I might get myself the brown pair :D
Also what do you think about the anglecolor bambi series? You tried any of those lenses?
Cause their “apple green” looks so so pretty to me. :P

    • jenny says:

I haven’t tried them! I can’t find them in my prescription strength just yet. They look crazy gorgeous but I’m not sure any except MAAAYBE the Green Apple would blend with my eye color and I hate seeing that sharp edge (it’s less noticeable on lucky people with brown, dark eyes.) ;-; But I’m keeping my eye out for them~~ I have tried the Angel Color Edge series & the World Blue series but find them really thick & uncomfy.

  20. Savannah says:

i LOVE circle lenses! thanks to you, i just ordered some! i have light blue eyes, so it’s nice to see these on lighter eyes. :)

    • jenny says:

Ah! I feel ya on the light eyes! It’s really hard to find lenses that blend nicely. It’s why I always want to share how different lenses look because it’s hard to find any non-brown eye examples. These would look great on blue, omg :O!!

  21. Betty says:

I can’t get over how green your eyes are. They’re gorgeous. hahaha. This is such an awesome review. I’m gonna order this on my next lens order ^-^

  22. priincess says:

these lens are so pretty! i was always scared to order from Yesstyle for lens, I don’t know why even though I ordered from other sites! thank you for sharing your experience, I may go check it out now! :)

of course, you look stunning as always jenny! :)

    • jenny says:

      Thanks so much! Yeah really, their selection, price, & delivery are pretty good compared to some shady places I’ve ordered from in the past =_=;;

  23. Hachi says:

Wow, I didn’t know that Yesstyle sold lenses! I’ll have to check it out~

These sound really nice! I especially like that they’re comfortable…I’ve never tried lenses before, and comfort is my main concern. It’s nice that these ones seem to enhance the beauty of natural eyes too ^^

  24. cute lenses~~ive been thinking about getting contacts but just seem like a lot of hassle…x_x

  25. Fatiha says:

these contacts look so natural on you~! hehe i honestly couldn’t tell whether or not you were wearing them in your pictures O_O i’ve actually never worn contacts before….only glasses ^_^ but anyway~ you really look pretty-it was a worth while purchase!!!

  26. Becca says:

I love your natural eye colour, and these emphasize that so well! love it

  27. Honeydew says:

Ahhh Jenny, I haven’t visited your blog for over a week and there’s SO MUCH to catchup on. LOL.

I really like the colour of these new contacts that you got because they go SO well with your natural eye colour. It’s almost as if you’re not even wearing contacts at all. :)

  28. Kayano says:

Love the lens Jenny! they really suit you!
it kinda reminds me of my Max Pure Grey lens that i accidentally lost some where in my room :(
i’m thinking of buying a new pair of those but after reading your post i think i should rethink about that and get the ones you got here instead!
I think the tear -drop effect is so cute on you! but because i have naturally dark brown eyes, maybe the effect won’t look as good on me as much as it does on you.

    • jenny says:

Oh yea, I have the Max Pure Browns actually!! I would google for these Tearful lenses because you’ll easy find photos of them on brown eyes to get a better idea of how they’ll look!

  29. Jenny says:

those are pretty nifty. i’m scared shitless of contacts though. i hate sticking things in my eye ;P

  30. Jiawen says:

: O These look really nice with your eyes!!

    Now I want to try some out but I totally forgot what degrees my eyes are since I never wear my glasses LOL. I wonder if it’ll worsen my vision if I just got the 0.00 ones ^^;;

    • jenny says:

LOL! I don’t know if it would… I guess not if they’re plano but it would probably just be good to go & get a prescription written up for future reference :D Since you do wear glasses :D

  31. rene says:

whuuuuu…. you are posting larger pictures of yourself! I love it! Hehe! I’m a image person. You got amazing skin omg.

    • jenny says:

Yea, from 400 to 500, well, it’s more like I’m posting vertical photos larger than I used to, I used to post all vertical pics at 400 because I felt they were too big but it just happens that most outfit & face shots I do vertically XD.

  32. Usagi says:

Oh they look really cute! I want pair of lens but I don’t want to give up my glasses! I wonder if I should order a pair in 0.0…

but did you have to know, I guess the curve to get a good fit or do they pretty much fit whoever?

Sorry for asking a few questions. I’ve been trying to research lens but all I get on google are group orders for GEO lens.

    Thanks!

    • jenny says:

It depends. I’m sorry, I know that’s a crappy answer. Some people can wear various curves and diameters and so on without problem. My doctor told me a long time ago that I could & that I have “good eyes for contacts.” But some others need things more specific or the contacts will be uncomfortable. You could probably just order plano (0.0) but since you already wear glasses why not just ask your doctor really quick if they could measure you for contacts? Just to have a prescription in hand in case you do ever want to order any.

  33. Erin says:

Wow! It’s like wearing eyeliner around your iris. Looks so pretty! I wish I had your color eyes, I don’t think the dark color will stand out with my dark brown eyes.

  34. Mindy says:

hiiii, I recently just started looking at your blog it seems very nice!!! Those lenses and your eyes look completely GORGEOUS!!! (: I’m Planning on buy a pair but I Don’t know which one to choose i would really appreciate if you can give me some recommendation Please? I’m debating on whether to get The Olive Grey ones or the tearful Brown one. I want it to look natural but I want it to be like noticeable too ! I have darkish brown eyes. So I wonder if it’ll look good on me the olive or the tearful? Please let me know asap THANKKKSS! :D

    • jenny says:

The tearful brown will blend more naturally but the tearful grey “tear marks” will probably stand out more. I’d google “GEO Tearful” and you’ll see lots of examples of both lenses on dark brown eyes :)

  35. Anna says:

If i put one lenses in shippingcart then its one circle lenses or one pair like 2 lenses ?? i mean is it one side each ?? yesstyle said Package contents: One (1) single lens only. Create a unique look by buying a second lens in your favorite color and required power range!

  36. Rachel says:

This post inspired me to order these! I’ve always wanted to try circle lenses, but since I have bright blue eyes, I am always worried they would just look unnatural. But these look very natural and beautiful and seem like they were blend in well with my eye color. Thank you so much for your post! ♡

    • jenny says:

Oh I’m so glad!! I can’t imagine how even more limited light blue eyes are. My darker green, sorta brownish are difficult enough to match. Glad you like them!

  37. Sarah says:

Hey girl! Long time follower and I was thinking about ordering a pair off of yesstyle myself! I was wondering if there was any trouble with the shipping for them? I know they’re illegal to the US so if you could share with me your experience that would be great! Xox

  38. Yulyn says:

hihi, i wonder..the lens is sold at yes style its stated one piece…and i don understand it…so i have to put “two orders” on the same lens??
