Weather Rant and Eyemazing Cosmetics

OK, I’m posting this, like, 4 hours after writing it! :deco13: I was hitting “post” when Mike came home & was very LET’S GO LET’S GO LET’S! That’ll make sense in the next paragraph :P :arrow:
Shhh I’m so tired of winter precipitation. :rainy: So it’s possibly snowing tonight beginning at 5:00. :drops: I’m on the train right now heading home, by the way. :deco8: Mike and I had planned to go out to Clyde’s tonight for dinner. :hungry: We haven’t been eating out much (part of the resolution was eating out no more than twice a week and even then only cheap places.) Mostly eating out is either to-go at the Italian market or at-the-most dining at cheap Asian bistros. :lol::deco13: Lol. Clyde’s isn’t overtly expensive but it’s nice and I wanna celebrate our taxes been done & submitted! Ok so yeah, WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. sigh. We’ll see what the weather’s like when Mike gets home. I get the feeling he doesn’t even want to go if there are even flurries falling. ぶーーー :cry:
Ah crap, just got a “Severe Weather Alert” email… not looking promising… :angry:
Anyway, so here’s a few snaps from Saturday. SHOULD HAVE JUST EATEN OUT THEN LOL. :deco13: Yeah I’m currently re-obsessed with my maxi dress. I can wear double layer tights and thick thigh high socks underneath it unlike with my jeans. Wearing my Rinka Barefoot Dreams hoodie too. I forget how warm this stays because it’s so thick and fluffy. :up:

Speaking of Eyemazing, They finally expanded to a cosmetics line. Wow. Pretty late to the game. :?: Dolly Wink and Diamond Lash did that forever ago. :deco13: I’m wondering if maybe Jun was too busy with her Carelance x Chereme line of sleep socks and cellulite rollers? :lol: And the packaging isn’t worth fawning over either. :deco13:
What gives? They charge as much as Dolly Wink. Maybe Dolly Wink has me spoiled on pretty packaging. :!?: Or even their lash packaging because it’s quite lovely. :deco5: This seems a bit too simple and a little reminiscent of dollar store packaging IMO. :?: Maybe they were trying to go for sleek & mature? I guess it’s no more lacking than Diamond Lash’s cosmetics’ packaging, though, DL has a wider selection. And maybe the makeups good???!! :P I haven’t tried any. But I haven’t seen it in magazine tutorials or on blogs either. :;_;: And not much on cosme.net yet either.
But I do like the lash line already and they came out with 3 new versions not too long ago. I’d love to try .006 ones! They’re for adding volume with other lashes. :make: Quite useful and more dramatic than adding on typical accent lashes on top of a full set. I just like the shape of the lashes. ::9:
Eyemazing bottom lashes are my favorite though the styles are extremely (two!) limited, I think Jun makes them really attractive. :deco12: They’re not super dramatic like Diamond Lash’s bottom’s line but somewhat different and less subtle than many of Dolly Wink’s. Blah, I don’t really have a great reason, :angry: I’m just strongly attracted to them! ^_^ Haahaa~~
I almost bought a pair of Jun’s collab sleeping socks from Loft. I decidedly put them back. They would have been my third pair of sleeping socks which I thought was a bit over-doing it, haahaa~ :deco13: Now she has some socks with rolling balls inside that massage your calves, haahaa :deco6:

Ugh. I know what you mean. I live on the border of DC and Maryland, the weather has just been horrific. I am so over snow. Lol.

I’ve been hearing about the crazy weather in Virginia, so it must be just as bad in DC. U.U Stay warm!! You always look so gorgeous in your photos, btw~ Such flawless skin!! :3
I don’t think anyone can beat Tsubasa’s products.. That woman is on fire!! xD And yeah, I also think her packaging is way better than Eyemazing’s.

I hate this weather because everyone drives 10000x more terrible and the DC area already has one of the worst traffic in the nation ~_~;;

I agree, the packaging is…lacking.
Damn it. I’m over this weather. Why couldn’t it all come at once like last year?!! LUMP SUM SNOOOW! I’m over this snow storm/blizzard every other week.

Your coordinate and make-up look amazing! I wish I could rock eyemazing eyelashes but alas, my eyes are just not cut out for them. Speaking of which, are their cosmetics line any good? I’m a faithful Dolly Wink user so I haven’t been able to try out other gal brands, lol. And before I forget, Candydoll also has a base make-up collection coming out this spring! It’s all Tsu-chan been talking about in her new blog. I’m definitely excited, that’s for sure!

It’s probably because they are testing the waters. If they find that people are actually interested in their make products then they might go onto investing more in the packaging (just a theory :P). Anyway, I love your maxi dress outfit. You look very cozy in it :)

My mums been telling me about the ridic weather rolling through the region ;w; Reminds of that terrible snow storm we had last year around Christmas.. I was almost trapped at work..! Thank goodness I found a taxi driver with snow tires =w=… He vaguely reminded me of Santa too.. LOL

I’ve always thought that the “sleeping socks” and those kind of products were pretty interesting. I’ve never tried anything like it though haha.
I agree, the eyemazing make-up line looks a little too plain. I feel like packaging-wise it doesn’t compete with Dolly Wink at all (Dolly Wink’s packaging is just so cuuuute!). So I guess the product would have to do all the competing, no? Maybe they wanted to keep the packaging simple to focus on the product itself? I don’t know honestly haha but that was just a thought I had.. -
Yesh ~ it really is too cold to do anything/go anywhere outside… O_O I’m shivering even though i’m in my house! Lately all I’ve been doing is throwing a bunch of stuff on to keep myself warm!
Winter does things to you… *sigh*
The roads are already covered up in snow!! The deck in my back yard is covered with 2-3 ft. of it… I hope it doesn’t break through…Stay Warm!!

We don’t have crazy snow here but it’s soooo ridiculously cold in Vancouver right now. I just want warm weather and I don’t care if we skip right to Summer!
Whatever outfits you put together are always so darn cuuute!! I need to figure out how to apply lashes. I dread removing my mascara at night but I want the dolly eye look^-^

Jenny where is this awesome store? I go down to DC like once a yr or so and would love to go there. All I have near me is a big Mitsuwa Marketplace and a bookstore unless I trek over to NYC (20 min expensive train ride).

LOL! I go to Clyde’s all the time with my family when I’m home visiting DC. It’s one of my parent’s favorite restaurants and I always get those chicken livers.
