Too Faced 500 Point Perk

This weekend I finally cashed out my BEAUTY INSIDER Sephora points! I didn’t want the previous 500 point perk so when I saw they now had this eyeshadow palette I went for it! :make:
I’m really happy I held out. :deco10: Definitely a great little freebie. It’s an eye shadow palette from Too Faced. The palette contains 8 eye shadows each 2 being from one of their best selling kits. :deco14:
There are 4 distinct “eye looks” :make: you can create with it. I really love Naked Eye, Romantic Eye, and Natural Eye for work! The shadows are pretty good too. They take a tad longer to blend evenly than my Shu Uemura shadows do but it’s not really an issue. :up:
The packaging is really pretty & sturdy especially for a freebie. It mirrors the box cover and has gold foil trim in a pretty pink case with magnetic closure. :deco15:
It also includes a mini tube of their eye shadow primer Shadow Insurance. I tried it but still prefer my Urban Decay eye shadow Primer. I’ll use up the freebie tube though, it’s not bad! :deco8:
At first I was a bit “meh” :deco13: when I got this. I felt, “God, more eye shadow, what have I done!?” :dizzy: But the 500 point perks don’t change often and I was holding onto mine forever. But after using this for a few days now I’m SUPER HAPPY :) I got it. This would be a palette worth buying even IMO. It’s limited edition so if you have 500 points and want an easy 1+2+3 shadow palette this has left me quite happy! :deco10:

Awe sounds cute though! I got this and had a 100 left & picked up the B&B Volume Hairspray 100 point perk LOL! Usually all the Sephoras around me have face lotion, goods 100 point perks which I don’t like to get =_=;;
haha yeah i was pleasantly surprised to get something hello kitty for 100 point – the packaging was very nice – similar to their sephora x hello kitty line :)
my sephoras usually have mascaras (which i don’t use…) and other random stuff that are super small in package – which i think aren’t really worth it since I get samples for free anyway :P
OMG yes the mascaras! Never ending! The last 500 pt perk I got was like 5 mini Tarte mascaras all which I ended up hating.
Very cute! I love that you get a fairly decent sized palette with nice, useable colors. Natural and naked eye look so pretty! & the packaging is adorable!! (I’m such a packaging freak~ soo shallow~~~ LOL)
Not shallow at all, I wish companies would exploit me more with nicer packaging the way Japanese brands do!!
I love pallets like this! I’m always like ‘yes, please tell me how to wear it so it looks awesome’ lol.
Hahaah definitely helpful especially when you’re in a hurry and no time to OVER THINK today’s eyemake! These colors are really lovely together too.

Is there a Sephora by you guys?? You could always try it on in stores! I think the expanded Romantic eye palette is pretty xD
I want! I think I only have like 200 something points right now and they always ask if I want one of the 100 point perks and I’m like no I’ll wait for 500. The 100 perks suck, haha.
They HAVE been sucking lately. Though the day I got this I used another 100 on some B&B volume hairspray I’m happy with only b/c I got to try that crazy $$$$$$$$ product for free! But usually the perks do NOT interest me D:

I have the Urban Decay Book of Shadows, so I’ve been avoiding buying more eye shadow (despite sooo much temptation) because I thought I’d feel the same way. Now you’re enabling me! :P

I have the UD Ammo (I think) palette I used to use constantly but now it never gets touched =Y
I have the Too Faced Naked Eye palette and I’m very happy with it! It’s pretty but subtle enough for school. I hear Natural Eye is great too, and Romantic Eye is downright gorgeous.
What eye primer(s) do you recommend?
I use Urban Decay’s eye shadow primer. I’ve tried a few other brands but always go back to UD’s. I have oily skin so some other primers don’t hold up through the day.
Yes, I like the fact that these are subtle colors! I can wear them easily at work. Sometimes if I wear too loud of colors I get comments, not bad, but just constant pointing out my eye make all day & it gets tiresome =_=;;

Yup Yup! Though I haven’t tried them outside the suggested looks since I haven’t had it very long. But these are useful colors in general!
That palette looks so fantastic! I wish Australia had a wider range of Too-Faced products available at a less inflated price T^T

Ah Naked eye is really subtle but lovely! I wore it a few times this week.
Sephora doesn’t ship to Australia *runs off crying while flapping arms like a little drama queen* :(.

Niiiice! I didn’t know Sephora did this… Maybe it’s different in Canada? I’ll have to check it out. We only have 1 Sephora out here and it’s a pain for me to get to so I rarely shop there.
I’ve heard their Urban Decay Primer the best. I’ll have to look into getting it since mine from MAC is running low…
Yeah I dunno if the Canada store takes part in the points system? Though I’d be surprised if they didn’t. Do you have a VIB card? It’s free.

Too Faced always has cute palettes. I loved their eyeshadows a lot, but now that I have tried more brands I realize theirs are not the easiest to work with. Still, those colors are amazing XD
Yeah these blend better than drugstore brands like Rimmel or CG but not as good as the KATE or Shu Uemura shadows I have.

those colours are so fun! i feel like i should get pallets like these that have a bunch of different stuff or i’ll never break out of my ‘brown brown brown’ eyeshadow use…that green + brown combo is SO pretty~
brown brown brown was SO me last 2 years. I went from being COLOR COLOR COLOR to neutral neutral. Now I float in between somewhere I think~~

Ooh! It’s nice to know this has some nice work appropriate looks! It’s hard for me being in a Japanese company because I already stand out but I don’t want to go to work looking like, too plain either so finding work appropriate make isn’t easy. May have to ask my mom to pick this up for me!
