Minty Ruffle Blouse

So happy. Yesstyle order arrived this past week. It’s an order of 3 blouses :deco2: and a few other things. I am so in love with the mint green blouse! The front ruffles flutter like waves. :deco2: I love blouses. I can wear them to work but more casually too. Recently I appreciate simple things with a twist. :ok: Like the “WAVEFRILL” mint blouse with its ruffles and wide shape. :deco15:
Unfortunately the mint color is now sold out but looks like pink is still in stock. With the below black blouse I had a really hard time choosing color! All the colors were great including pink, ivory, and mint! But I went with black because I only have 1 other black blouse. This one with the cut-outs. But this new blouse I can wear to work. XD
The white blouse (direct link) is a dolmen cap sleeve-like style with a V neck and double pockets. The black blouse (direct link) is a mandarin collar with slightly wider, volume 3/4 sleeves. It’s length is also longer than typical blouses and runs longer in the back. Simple, basic, but still special and different. :deco14:
So as for this past weekend. I was mostly sick. :ng: I woke up Saturday with a mild flu. But I went to see Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop anyway!! It’s a small documentary of Conan’s Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television tour. If you saw the tour you’ll love this movie! :deco10: And even if you didn’t, but you love Conan and find yourself relating to his self-deprecating often snarky humor… you’ll love it too! ::9: I could have easy watched the uncut and raw footage of these behind the scenes for more than 30 hours, I don’t care! :deco3: :deco3: Ok, ok :P :lol:
Then afterward we stopped by the BBQ Battle and got our picture in front of the infamous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile plus wienermobile whistles!! :P I’ve never seem the Wienermobile on the road. Sightings are a bit rare, right! :deco8: I’ve always wanted to see it.
So yeah :drops: the rest of Saturday and Sunday I was lying on the floor pretty much dying and marathon-ing Psych. :deco13: Though I went to work today. :ok: An Advil got me through the day and I’m starting to feel better’ish. :deco10::deco13:

That second photo of you is really cool. You look good, but the composition of the photo is just so eye catching and makes you look… I don’t know how to say it… but it’s just a really awesome photo. Looks like something from a magazine. LOVE the shirt though, kinda reminds me of my pink one. I love the color!

Ahhh, I bought some stuff from YesStyle a few weeks ago and only received one package in the mail so far. I’m currently still waiting for my other package to come but the postal office here in Toronto, Canada is currently on strike!! ;_; I don’t even know WHEN I’ll get that package and it’s actually a pair of sandals that I ordered that I’m kind of looking forward to wear. Boooo postal strike sucks~

OH my God a WIENERMOBILE lol! It’s… so phallic… I know it’s obvious because it’s a sausage but… wow XD.
I absolutely love blouses but somehow all the blouses in my wardrobe have been inching ever closer to button-up shirt territory because I prefer cotton. Blouses are usually in some stupid polyester fabric which gives it its lovely soft look but not good for uh, ahem, girls who sweat a lot in summer XD.
Also I haven’t been commenting much because of exams, but I just wanted to say thanks for a swatch of the Jade nail polish in your previous posts! I remember asking for it and trust me, your nails are so much prettier than mine because they’re actually intact and existent! Mine are just… split and peeling and absolutely disgusting. The green is soo nice, which just makes me feel bad because I can’t wear it T_T.

Get a nail treatment, hon! I use this “Total Nail Care 5 in 1 treatment” thing by some Nutra Nail brand. It goes on as a polish and I use it on my toes because I’m a runner and thus, sort of rough on my feet sometimes. I like to use it as a base coat or sometimes to give my toesies time to “breath” I just wear it as a clear shiny nail polish. It’s helped with chipping/peeling nails a lot. :)

The mint blouse drapes perfectly! I was at one time really obsessed with mint coloured things, but recently my favourite colour is lavender. *__*
Speaking of blouses, I was looking at Snidel’s new A/W items (the seasons go by so fast!! T_T) today, and I thought this was the most beautiful blouse I’ve ever seen:

I totally saw him on tour, but the closest showing for this is 1.5 hours away :T it might be worth it, but I do hate spending money on gas… haha.
