CANMAKE Cream Cheek in Pink Rose

Sunday September 25, 2011

I thought I’d post about a CANMAKE cream blush after posting the powder one on Friday. :deco2: Some people were asking about the comparison of the two. Their cream blushes are much more pigmented but I’d say the staying power is about the same. I have another cream blush of theirs in Vitamin Orange.

This one I got from Yesstyle is #09 Pink Rose. I just use one dab on each cheek. The cream blushes are easily build-able for a super vibrant look if you like. This one looks a lot like the powder Gerbera Kiss shade only without as much highlighter or “shine.” :deco4:

The powder version definitely glows more :deco9: while the cream is more of a flat color. You could always use the cream blush then go over it with their powder blush for a super pigmented and lasting color. I did that with the vitamin orange cream blush and caramel orange powder blush a few times. :ok:

I love the texture of canmake cream blushes ! I saw your review on the powder one and that was gorgeous as well :D

Did Canmake come out with new colors for their blushes? I didn’t know this o_O

I love how bright and awake your eyes always look in pictures. You never seem to even have dark circles or eye bags, do you? Or maybe you’re just using some super awesome concealer? lol.

    • Honeydew says:

I meant to say you seem to never have dark circles**

      • jenny says:

Omg I actually have really really REALLY horrible undereye circles!!!!!! I have a super great concealer from BENEFIT called BOI-ING that I use. I also use a few other things too including a nightly eye cream and a undereye dark circle vitamin boost from Bare Minerals that I put on first followed by bbcream then boiing concealer then sometimes a little extra liquid concealer finishing with a pressed powder and sometimes a highlighter. Covering them takes a ton of work t___t

        • Honeydew says:

Really? Your undereye area always seem to look so pale white and clear that I thought they’re just naturally like that. lol. I don’t have much of eye circles problem but I do have eye bags which concealers can’t really cover.

  7. Shmuberry says:

I love canmake blushes! I got a few Etude House blushes when I was in Korea and I like to use them together :) Powder + cream makes a very nice combo ! :D

  8. Chanel says:

I’ve been meaning to try out Canmake blushes forever! Where’s the best place to buy them online?

    • jenny says:

I get mine from Yesstyle.com in larger orders so shipping is free. Sasa, imomoko, and cosmelandusa sell them too roughly at the same price give or take. Currently the dual blushes I’ve only seen on yesstyle though =Y

  11. I love japanese blushes! I have one and it’s still one of my faves.. this one looks very sweet on you!

  12. Kate says:

Canmake blushes are good value for money ^_^
I’ve been meaning to get my hands on some, especially some of the powder blushes~
The cream cheek is good for a base for layering color, I think :3

Also… Is PopSister really discontinued after the Nov issue?
I’m so sad T__T It was my favorite…(泣)

    • jenny says:

Unfortunately it seems to be the case for PopSister. I’m still waiting on my Nov issue which should come any day now. But I saw online they definitely announced an indefinite hiatus. It’s only slightly better news than a “final issue” announcement but yeah, looks like it’s done after only a year & 1/2 really.

      • Kate says:

Here’s hoping they won’t be on hiatus for long…
What other magazines do you recommend that are similar to PopSister?

        • jenny says:

Well it sorta depends on what you liked best about PopSister since it was a mixture of casual gal & street mostly plus some otona gal styles but here’s a list of possibilities:

          Popteen
          Jelly
          SCawaii
          Happie Nuts
          Blenda
          Katy (new)
          Edge Style (sorta new)
          Modegal (sorta new)
          Vivi

  13. Thanh Thao says:

    I love Canmake, I am using their Cream-cheek No. 1 almost every day, and I so much love it! Too bad No. 1 is discontinued now ;__;

  14. Angel says:

I love the pink color, so light and feminine.

  15. Becky says:

I love canmake’s cream blushes! They are truly so buildable. Plus they are very long lasting which I LOVE. The colour looks good on you :)

  16. Jess says:

this is great!!! and your skin face is perfect too, it´s help!!

  17. Bianca says:

very cute, you look like a doll :D

  18. chocoNIKKI says:

Ooh I like this one~! My problem is the blush never stays – and I rarely bring my blush out with me, so I can’t do touch-ups! =O Might give this a try after my Cosmagic sweet deco blush is used up~!

    • jenny says:

I used to have problems with my blush fading too when I only wore base powder but ever since I started wearing bb cream as well it doesn’t happen as much. Do you wear any base makeup? It could help hold onto the color longer or try something like Urban Decay’s makeup setting spray which works amazingly.

  19. Tori says:

Definitely preferring powder blush to cream lately~ I like the more ‘glowy’ look of the powder so much more ♥

    • jenny says:

There’s something I never feel “great” about putting a cream over my base makeup. I feel like it’s clogging my pores though I don’t seem to break out so it’s all in my head LOL

  20. Thanks for the post! *^_^*

  21. hiika says:

is this your natural hair colour or still dyed? It looks fab~ :D

    • jenny says:

It’s my natural color. My chocolate brown color from May has long, long faded away. My natural highlights look different depending on the lighting and this day it was cloudy.

  22. criztinita says:

    you look so cute!

I’ve always been afraid of cream products. Are they easy to use?

    kisses from spain!

    • jenny says:

So cute, hi hi hi xD! Yeah they’re really easy! Though a little messy, got to wipe off your finger after using :D. For my look that day I just touched the cream gently then touch my cheek in a circular motion. 1 touch for each cheek :D

  23. Vermillion says:

It looks great on you ^^ I love your hairstyle!

  25. Eri says:

    Hello!
I always read your blog, but this will be my first comment!
Sorry that it is quite late for this post though.
I LOVE layering my canmake cream and powder blushes! It gives such a great effect!(^~^)
I have the cream blush in Marshmallow Pink and I think it would really suit you! & It was the most high ranked blush in Popsister:)
&I was wondering how the Canmake Highlighter is? I’ve been very curious for a long time now.
    Thank you~!

    • jenny says:

The white highlighter is VERY pigmented, as in, if you use too much it’s like white dust on your face. But that’s sorta a nice change too, you can get some intense highlighting from it!
