Recent Obsession: Peach

I’ve been really into peach this summer. Eating peaches, smelling like peaches, peaches.

I got this peach lotion at The Body Shop on Saturday. I also tried the latest of their rose scents Atlas Mountain Rose, and liked it a lot more than their previous rose fragrances.

Got these peach-things as well.

- peach mango bark,
- peach tea,
- and an oat peach drink.

The bark is so … weird and good. It comes in small pieces and is so overwhelming sweet I don’t find myself pigging out on it. But it’s still tangy and refreshing. The tea is sweet as well and tastes better iced I think. Haven’t tried the drink but I’ve seen these oat drinks evererereeerywhere.

For those asking for my cold soba recipe. I am no expert chef. I seriously just follow the directions on the bag of soba. Low boil 6 minutes then I drain and stick in the fridge for a few minutes to cool. I use ready made mentsuya (sauce) already diluted. I like to chop up some green onion for the sauce but I didn’t have any last time. Last summer I was growing green onions so I always had them around. I’ll probably buy a plant for my garden next time I’m at the grocery store. :)

Shinzi Katoh Series Makeup Pouch

Monday July 22, 2013 comments

Shinzi Katoh makeup bag from Yesstyle

It was time for a new daily makeup bag and I received this Shinzi Katoh one courtesy from Yesstyle. I’m finding it to be perfect. It has a sturdy design with a lot room for a small amount of space. This is mostly thanks to the use of the snap out zipper pouch and opposite side brush sleeves which are also great for organizing eyeliners, concealer pens, and other pencil-shaped items.

I’m able to fit my daily must-have items as well as two blushes and two eye palettes which gives me a little option for that day. I switch these items out as my preference changes. All-in-all I love it!
