Shopping Photos

This weekend has been pretty low-key. We haven’t gone out much because it’s so freakin’ cold and we went out a lot last weekend. Mostly we slept. It sounds pathetic but it was actually quite nice. I wish I could sleep till spring arrives but sadly I’m not a bear and also I have work We’ve been watching seasons of IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA because neither of us had ever watched the show but I had heard good things and Mike borrowed it from his brother. I love “shot gunning” a show on DVD. I wish I had the patience to skip ALL shows and just buy them on DVD to enjoy marathons of NEW EPISODES! Hahaha

ANYWAY~ I take a lot of photos now of my outfits because my friend & I email them to one another I especially like to take snaps at the stores now. As bizarre as it was at first, I think it’s cool to send her snaps of interesting change rooms since she doesn’t have some of these stores in Japan. So that said here’s a few snaps from Free People from last Saturday

I liked this dress but it didn’t look great on me

The 2 shirts I ended up buying

tis a bit dark but their change rooms are so romantic
shirt link!

not at Free People but at home
Victoria’s Secret shirt
LOVVVVE it! So comfy~~
Wearing it with my “boyfriend” style jeans

Went to World Market as well and finally found some 3400 PHINNEY CHOCOLATE bars! I’ve been looking for this brand ever since I read a review on Candyblog.

I got the BREAD & CHOCOLATE and the COCONUT CURRY. I love chocolate and I’m a bit venturous with its taste. Call me a chocolate snob if you will but I love to try new exotic flavors and find something as bland as a regular ole’ Hershey’s bar quite a turn off. The BREAD & CHOCOLATE bar was delicious! Especially if you enjoy salty sweet flavors. Real pieces of artisan bread crumbled within the dark chocolate! You could really taste the subtle crust flavor of the bread when you came upon a tiny nib of it.

The COCONUT CURRY was wild! I LOVE curry. And the chocolate bar’s wrapper was even stained with yellow upon opening it. It changed the consistency of the chocolate as well and reminded me of the curry bricks themselves. The flavor is pretty intense. Once the chocolate begins to melt it gets really good and has a spicy aftertaste. I was hoping the coconut flavor would be a bit more prominent though. Probably wouldn’t buy it again but worth trying out for sure!

I wanted to post some left over photos I had of some goods I bought in Japan but it’s getting late and I’m going to go watch the new episode of Flight of the Conchords!! So~~~~~

That Free People shirt is too adorable! Coconut curry?! CRAZY D: I wouldn’t ever touch that, I really like my chocolate regular, the most I’ve ventured is chili chocolate but everyone’s had that

Oh and also, I would love to know how your mum does her makeup! That’s so nice of you to offer ♥ My email is [email protected] if you prefer to email

I love the linen shirt dress! So lovely! I’ve taken to terming them as “shresses” I’ve always promised myself I would purchase myself one - but I never got around to it! Damn!

Oh yes, lovely chocolate! Unfortunately I’m a boring old grannie about choccies - I sit back and munch on some Cadbury or Bueno and I’m set for the night!

TV SHOW MARATHONS ARE THE BEST! However, my eyes start going crazy after a while. Old series are also fun to watch sometimes also. I so want the series DVD collection for Friends. I saw it on sale at Costco for about $130. So tempted, but they always play reruns of Friends on TV so I guess there’s really no need to buy it.

my little sister and i take photos when we’re in the change rooms so when we find a similar top we can compare :p this was especially useful when we were shopping for formal dresses. Haha~

i’m a very simple chocolate girl; ONLY milk chocolate for me. ~ i really like the wrapping on those chocolate bars!

That dress is lovely indeed. Every time I see something nice in a store, I’d try it on only to find out it looks crappy on me. Now I just don’t even try stuff on because I’d assume it’ll look bad on me. Anyway, that dressing room looks pretty fancy. There are flowers painted on the wall, if I’m not mistaking.

Wow what weird flavoured chocolate!

I love the photos you post. But it really makes me miss my little camera cos the one I use now is so big and bulky that taking it everywhere is no longer an option. Cute clothes, by the way. The changing rooms look so vintage.

Definitely one of my favourite stores! It’s too bad the nearest one to me is at Tyson’s Corner which is 2 hours away… I love the little button-down shirt you got!

Those chocolate bars look yummy too- I like how you described the Coconut Curry one, it sounds YUM!

and you guys get some really funky chocolate flavors :/ we only get the generic type… the most exciting one was some nestle with some huge cookie chunks =_=;;; but they canceled it…

i want to comment on your twitter sometimes
i don’t know about the manga in cutie but i sort of miss the ones in zipper
but i guess if you’re buying a fashion magazine you’d want fashion and not manga =_=;;;

I really like the first Free People dress! It looks like it would be unflattering to the chest, though. Have you ever done the Free People craft swap? I’ve done it before and there’s a Valentine’s one they’re organizing right now, it’s on their blog.

Candy with unusual flavors is the best.

Low-key weekends are my favorite as well as enjoying them sleeping. Sleeping is always something need to catch up on. The shirts are really pretty. I wonder what the stripped one would look like on me. I’m totally amused by chocolate curry but I’d be more interested in tasting something sweet.

Cute outfits! I wish I had the $$$ to shop at Freepeople- it’s one of my fave stores!

Hmmm… I’ve been seeing different types of “spicy” chocolate around. Maybe other people are getting tired of plain choco, too?

ughhh dentist

04/09 | 10:50 am

I have to take an hour off work to go BACK to the dentist. I really dread it. I just want to switch dentists but the work they did needs to be fixed first. I really hate them. They even try to tell me the tooth I say hurting should be a different tooth... wtf??! And I've had 3 bite readjustments already and I think I have to get another today b/c they suck at doing it! UGH. Did I even need a crown!? geezus *cries*
I'm trying to not get overtly upset over it all but I have tooth pain daily. I just want to be able to eat properly again.

(comment?)

Waiting~
