American Apparel Girly Lace Socks

Some weekends just sorta disappear. I saw X-Men First Class Saturday morning. Good, good 
But this weekend was sorta “meh.” I’ll blame PMS. 
I kept forgetting to take outfit snaps too. Or really any snaps! Gaaah 
Mostly I window shopped. I did good! OK, I did buy a few things. 
Firstly, like I said Friday, I went to American Apparel. There was a maxi skirt I wanted to try. Tried it on, looked terrible on me, LOL, 
but picked up these socks and shoelaces. I’m gonna put the laces in my black oxford heels to make them look less “winter” to me. 
I saw these socks a few months ago & talked myself out of them. 
But after seeing them in PopSister so much I finally bought a pair. I like the other colors too, the gray and the beige. But I’ll wait to see how much I’ll wear these. If I wear them a ton I’ll buy the other colors then. The laces however were pure, at the counter, impulse buy. *whoops* 
Then I finally jumped on the jade nail polish bandwagon! This is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in shade Jade Jump. 
This is my favorite drugstore brand nail color because I’m all about QUICK DRYING. 
The colors tend to go on well in 1 easy coat and dry super fast. It does chip if you don’t apply a top coat. But why wouldn’t you apply a top coat? I apply a base + top coat with every polish I use no matter the brand. 
I also bought this candy bar this weekend, lol. It’s new Hershey’s Air Delight. I usually don’t like Hersey’s chocolate (Godiva snob, sorry,) 
but I wanted to see how this turned out! Well, meh… I was disappointed. Yes, it was Milk Chocolate, really milky and smooth. But I was hoping it would be more like Aero :(. I LOVE the texture or Aero and other chocolates like it. This was like eating a soft half melted Hershey’s kiss. So if you love Hershey’s you’ll probably like this. 200 calories a bar. Plus Aero is still difficult to find in the States outside of World Market & gourmet groceries. 
Didn’t do much else. Got mega blisters on my toes (getting re-used-to summer shoes is always fun LOL, especial high heel peep-toe shoes) on Friday, then today I packed up a bunch of post to go out. Father’s Day gift, sending a friend a care package (bwahahah,) and then a small box of clothes to my sister. Some items I’m not wearing these days. Mostly Mickey tees, a dress, rompers
That reminds me I need to buy some more shoe insoles!! Can never over pimp out your shoes. Make them as comfy as possible.

I’ve got a bunch of random photos to dump. Basically weather was crap, cherry blossoms gone, waited in front of the White House in hopes to see Obama rolling eggs on Easter (fail but fun) and ate WAAAAAAY too much sugar! Oh and tried on overpriced clothes at Saks that I had no intention of buying. 
My friend visited and she’s really into high fashion. I saw this Chanel necklace though that was just SO cute! but at $2K I passed for obvious reasons.
FIRST SOME SUGAR
The above treats are from Fancy Cakes by Leslie! SO amazing! Best macarons I’ve EVER had! Large too! Caramel and raspberry were my favorites. And the other treats beautiful as well. Covered in glitter and colorful! My friend & Mike both got cupcakes and said they were really good. And in the above left photo is a quick snap of one of her amazing cakes on display.
Large Raspberry macaron with chocolate mousse and dark chocolate Easter egg on top! From a shop called Cacao. It was pretty good. I wish I weren’t 1/2 drunk when I ate it :cloudedmind:
Last year I couldn’t find a macaron ANYWHERE but now I know of 3 places that have them in constantly. FINALLY AMERICA, FINALLY!

We went to the museums Sunday too. Saw some lolitas there which I thought was a cute idea~ lolita on Easter in a museum. I also saw a gross homeless man walking around the entire time… not so cute.

HAAHAAAHAHA just kidding, just kidding :haha: :haha: :haha: I just think it’s cute they have these little grown-up Easter Baskets.
Picture on the right is a sneak preview of a skirt I bought this weekend at Bloomingdale’s!! It reminded me a lot of the tired ruffled skirt on poupee or something from Liz Lisa or Rose Fan Fan! I bought a few other things but I don’t have much in way of photos yet…

I did manage to score the Sephora lip gloss from Rinka’s new photobook!! I thought it would be easy but It was really hard to find! The first Sephora was sold out and the tube I got was the last sealed tube for sale!! *so lucky!!*

That’s it for now. I need to catch up on everyone’s stuff but I gotta get back to work tomorrow so I might be out of sorts till the weekend. I’m still so exhausted from everything we did during my friends visit. So I’m off to rest now! :baibai:
