The Pentagon doesn’t look like a pentagon anymore, haha.

And I must add, I do take my college’s architecture for granted!!!

Ooo, I really like the card and the brooch; they’re so cute! I’m guessing you live in DC? I live in NC, so I’m pretty close to there. I’ve never been up there, but my brother and mom said it was really cool. The Georgetown picture makes me want to really visit sometime. Cute site, btw!

hahaha that could also be a hint for your next layout’s color scheme!

what camera did you use to take pictures in this entry? & what time of day did you snap the first picture? it has a nice soft glow to it.

What’s a kitsch store?

jenny said
April 17, 2009 @ 10:12 pm

From wikipedia:
“Kitsch (/kɪtʃ/) is the German and Yiddish word denoting art that is considered an inferior, tasteless copy of an extant style of art.”

Basically anything considered junky or folky… it’s kinda hard to explain. But most of what they had in the store was very much that style

Hi Jenny.

I made a post in my blog about spotting a girl with a Cher eco-bag right around my hometown, it was exciting! I also mentioned that you love Cher and linked your site. I hope this is okay.

Here’s a link to it.

Jenny wanted to ask u something, how can I get a cher bag?? :(

Jenny said
April 21, 2009 @ 7:24 am

Depends if you want an original or a knock-off. I’ve only gotten originals. My first was from a yahoo japan auction (you can use a shopping service for that) and my other 2 I bought at the Cher store. The problem is Cher requires you to buy clothing first before you can buy the bag, so the bags are expensive on auctions. I’ve heard of some people buying cheaper knock-offs at like $30.00 though.

Easiest way to get a Cher bag is to get one of the furoku (free) bags from their magazines or a magazine like Sweet. Usually you can find the cher “e-mook” on ebay or sites that sell Japanese magazines.
