Vivienne Westwood Shoes

I ordered these Vivienne Westwood Mary-Jane’s the other day from Gilt.com and they arrived today. I ordered the soft pink pair.
So I called up GILT and told them the mix up. THANKFULLY THEY HAD 1 PAIR OF SOFT PINK LEFT IN 6! They said this 1 pair of purple must have randomly gotten mixed in with the pinks because no one else has called with the same problem. They weren’t even SELLING the purple style! So I’m returning these, ordered the soft pinks again, and they’ll refund my credit card in full including shipping. They were really understanding.
The purples ARE pretty still! But I wanted the pink because it’s easier to match with clothing I already own. I am happy to say I could at least try them on and the fit was great! Really soft & comfortable! Plus the shoes smell like bubble gum! THAT’S RIGHT, BUBBLEGUM SCENTED! I read that they were scented but the GILT description didn’t mention it so I wasn’t 100% positive mine would.

I’d be more upset if I hadn’t bought a pair of pink pumps last night for $32.00 $8.00 on sale~!
For $8.00 they’re not bad. 
So at least I get to wear SOME new shoe tomorrow, hahaha 
Shopping has been so touch & go with me lately. Tuesday I went to H&M to buy a sweater I’ve been wanting. I’ve seen it over & over but always talked myself out of it. Well this time I decided I’m getting it! They only had 2 left but 1 was thankfully in my size

Then I noticed….
BIG RED DYE STAIN ALL DOWN THE SIDE!
RAWR! 
And the damages discount was only 10% off a $30 top. So I walked away.
The other size they had was much too big. sigh~ :F
You’d think I’d learn my lesson by now! But no. This weekend I plan on going to an outlet mall that’s fairly new. Never been either. They have SAKS off 5th and the Barney’s NY outlet 
Now if I receive my re-ordered shoes in purple again…. I’LL SWEAR OFF SHOPPING TILL CHRISTMAS! I SWEAR!!!

At least they were very accommodating to you about the shoes. I LOVE the $8 pumps. Those are super super adorable.
And I love getting sweaters, especially ones with Mickey Mouse on it.

Aww…im sorry about the sweatshirt…it reminds me of one i got when i was a kid…it was my favorite..it had minni mouse’s face on it (my favorite~)…but its too small on me now.. I hope that you get the right colored pair this time~~~

Wow the shoes look cute~ I like the red pair but I agree, the pink is more versatile. I am so used to flat shoes because I just enjoy being kind of short, but I have wanted to buy some kitten heels for a while - I still get a bit of a boost but I still retain my travel-sizeness (hahha).
I love the new stuff that’s been coming into H&M recently, a lot of it looks like it’s right out of Japan or Korea. I bought a green tank a while ago that reminded me of something I had seen on a Korean site before.
By working I’ve cut out a lot of spending on myself, and anything I have spent on myself has been under $30 (with the exception of 2 phones). I mostly spend my money on others and on food

Some of my photos are via blackberry phone, some are digital camera. The phone photos it depends. A lot of times I just resize them unless I’m posting directly from my phone. Sometimes I do lighten them or play with fun color looks. But mostly, nah.
Nooo! I can’t believe I missed the V. Westwood sale on Gilt. I had been ignoring emails from them to avoid temptation, but now I’m sad.
The bright purple shoes they sent you kinda look like Barbie shoes. It’s a good thing they had the light pink in stock in your size too!

I’ve seen that sweater at H&M, too. I would have bought it if it wasn’t so expensive. I guess it’s not really that expensive, but I’m trying to not spend money lately because I’m still unemployed. Ugh, not having a job is really lame.
I agree! I thought #30 was too much & it’s why I had been talking myself out of it. I mean come on, it’s a worn Mickey sweater! $30??!!
H&M actually restocks their clothing so you should try back again next week to see if they got more

Ugh, that’s horrible! The purple is cute, but it’s a bit much, and the pink is a lot easier to work with.

The shoes are sooo adorable though! I’m on a shopping ban until I get back from HK - I can’t wait to pick up some lovely items (UNIQLO, Tsusmori Chisato etcetc) and a bunch of random cute things! / sigh - but I really want to put my debit card into action - might go ETSY stalking later today (PUHAHAHAHHA)

Oh Melissa! I love that brand Has lot’s of really pretty and original shoes! Plus they’re really comfortable. My sister has another model in hot pink that smells like strawberries and they are really comfortable to walk in and never made my feet hurt x3
