I hate when I get so busy. Then I end up with a bunch of random photos and topics I want to write about and super long entries always equal DAUNTING TASK TO READ. But it’s OK, don’t feel pressure to read it all. I’m not a psycho who thinks you need to touch on every topic I write about in order to leave a comment, haahaa. 
500 Days of Summer
So I finally got to see 500 Days of Summer! Definitely the best movie I’ve seen all summer, though it’s not fair to say since those were all “blockbusters” and I’m an indie-flick sort of girl. It wasn’t perfect, but it was worth seeing. In the sea of “men are dogs” movies it’s nice to have one shining star so gracefully demonstrate how women, too, are pretty screwed up & heartless at times. Wanting a little bit of everything while refusing to sacrifice anything. My favorite part had to be the expectations vs. reality scene. I play scenarios over & over in my head so this really appealed to me.

We had planned to go out and grab a nice dinner but that was ruined. We headed over to the Tako Grill in Bethesda. We had been there before. It’s a little pricey for Japanese food. Only this time… we had an uninvited guest at out table… A BIG GROSS BUG! A silverfish to be exact. DISGUSTING!!! Those are the type of bugs that when you see one, there’s ALWAYS more. It’s not like a beetle that could have gotten carried in on someone’s clothing. No, this is a bug that shows the tale-tale signs of poor sanitation. So we left, of course! I won’t be going back, ever.
Moving on~~ 
Non-fat Frozen Yogurt Find
The next night I stumbled upon a local frozen non-fat yogurt shop! It’s new! I was SOOOOO happy because the places I’ve been visiting for this low calorie treat were in neighboring cities like Sweet Greens in Bethesda.
. So I couldn’t really justify getting it all the time or on a whim. But I’ve been addicted to this stuff since my diet started
It’s called Caliyogurt and so far it’s actually my favorite of all non-fat yogurt places I’ve tried! They have the most flavors too all at the same calorie amount as original. 25 calories an ounce (except chocolate, it’s 30 calories an ounce.) 4 ounces = quite a large serving of yogurt!!! Plus it’s self-serve. You can taste test and mix flavors and choose from dozens of toppings yourself. Then you just pay by weight.
The flavors at the moment are: 
Original:The normal tart flavor
Chocolate:Pretty damn good!
Green Tea:This is nice. A mild matcha flavor.
Honeydew:Too sweet, I didn’t like it.
Mango:FANTASTIC and sweet but not overwhelming.
Blackberry:My favorite. Very tart but quite flavorful!
I’ve gone there twice this weekend, haahaa. GOOD-BYE KRISPY KREME! That’s where I used to run to when my sweet tooth came calling.
Sections are closed off like cubicles so it’s semi-private plus there are open tables too.
Shopping Saturday
After trying the free sample months ago I finally bought Boscia’s Amino-AG Eye Treatment.
I had that 10% coupon for Sephora that they’re giving out with their new “V.I.B.” campaign.
I’ve had dark circles under my eyes since childhood. I thank my Italian genes for this. Very mobster-like circles indeed. I could never really cover them up well. When I used thick cover-up makeup it would only make it WORSE. So usually I’d put some highlighter on them instead. It helped, especially in photos (haahaa,) but they were always still there.
This Boscia stuff is amazing though! Literally the next morning I could tell a difference. A BIG difference. I remember freaking out when using the sample. It was the first time in my life my dark circles were ever nearly gone! So I broke down and bought the $40 full bottle :good:
Mike was skeptical with my purchase being it so pricey, but the next day he was surprised at how different I looked! YAY! See, this stuff works so well even GUYS NOTICE! And guys don’t notice ANYTHING!
Now my dark circles are much lighter and when I put on this BareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper I got from Yesstyle my eyes look much brighter and less tired than before when only using a highlighter or cover make. 
I’ll try to find some good befores & afters. There’s a lot of photos I never post because my dark circles are SO BAD! haahaahaa
I also bought the “Sin” version of my favorite Eyeshadow Primer from Urban Decay. I like that it’s automatic glam color PLUS a primer. But it does feel slightly heavier on the lids than the original primer mix. I’ll probably go back to using the original after I’m through with the “Sin” bottle. However I NEVER wear eyeshadow without this stuff. I wish it existed when I was in High School & college!
Visited Free People while out. LOVE their Fall lineup though only a few pieces were in the store so far. didn’t try much on. A good way to keep yourself from trying on massive clothing is to wear something you hate taking on & off! I wore overalls plus leggings! LOL Too many layers to fret with in order to try on clothes, haahaa. Yea, I’m THAT lazy.

Hot Baths/Cool Baths!
Coming back from vacation I busted out a cooling bath salt for once! It felt soooooooo good on my post vacation sunburn. I really missed my big soaking tub too. It’s the 1 thing I always miss when on vacation. Most tubs can’t compare, you know? *spoiled*

Lastly. My maxi dress shrank and all but 1 of my edamame died. I followed the cold washing instructions and even laid flat to dry but it still shrank. The edamame died because I didn’t show Mike how to properly water them while I was away. Their dead and dying dry leaves were then infested by millions of baby spiders soon after. So, they’re gone now. *sigh*

ah! yes.. i’ve been wondering about that movie and have been debating between ‘time traveler’s wife’ and ‘500 days of summer’..most likely i will see 500 because i haven’t finished time travelers..
i also dig indie films.. they have a certain sense of nostalgia in the way that its shot and filmed..
I agree indie films are a lot of times better then the big buget movies… I want to see julie and julia
I love entries; they give me something to read when I have nothing to do at work xD
I mean to say “long entries”, whoops!

i have really persistent dark undereye circles too ! theyre super dark would still be there even after i try to cover them up with concealer :c but kumikki, who claims that she has undereye circle problems too, recommended the Maybelline Mineral Concealer in the August issue of popteen, so i think i’ll go try that sometime ~ ! ^ ^ i’d love to try out the brand you were talking about too, but it might be a bit expensive for me ;__; id love to know what id look like if my undereye circles disappeared ~ xD hahah
oh i love frozen yogurt places ~ ^ ^ theyre the perfect places to go for a light dessert :9 my favorite flavor is probably the pinapple flavor at the moment =] i also really love the mini yogurt chips they have as toppings ! theyre like a less-rich version of white chocolate =9
HUmmm I might buy some of the Maybelline stuff. I still have slight darkness but it’s more easily hidden now with makeup. Yea, I don’t blame you for not wanting to splurge right away, I waited months before I bought it and tried cheaper things first.
Mmm Caliyo sounds like BerryLine in the Boston area, same cals - now you can get mango or ROSE flavored froyo! Yummm
Yea. This place changes out flavors every month apparently so I’m hoping for a rose or lavender flavor soon!

Mmmm froyo! In SoCal there’s lots of froyo places to choose from. This place reminds me of Yogurtland, but with less flavors ;P

That yogurt place sounds a lot like the Asian yogurt places we have in LA. I like the “pinkberry knockoffs” better because their yogurt is more tart and cater to my palette. I dunno what it is about Pinkberry, maybe they changed their formula, but the last time I tried their original flavored yogurt, it was WAY TOO SWEET.
Also, what is eyeshadow primer?? I’ve never heard of this before. Man..I suck as a girl.
Yea, you can tell the boom is moving to the East coast now. There’s dozens of froyo places popping up monthly here!
Eyeshadow primer is like a light base you apply to the lid before applying eyeshadow. It keeps the shadow from fading or creasing. I use it because without it ALL my shadow creases at the top of my eye & I look ridiculous. I used to have to check my shadow multiple times a day & wipe away the creasing to the point that I stopped wearing shadow for the longest time.

Ugh, I really hate seeing bugs in restaurants. I was at a sushi train place in Taiwan once with my brother, and this cockroach popped out of nowhere. At least every plate was only 30NT ($1 USD).
Mm, I haven’t had frozen yogurt for years. I don’t really eat ice cream either.. I miss it.

I love 500 days of Summer. It’s one of my favorite films at the moment. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel are a great pair on screen!!

That was a lot, but I read the majority of it! I personally loved 500 Days of Summer, and it really was a nice, quirky change from the typical chick flick. I also liked it because I’m from LA now lol.
I hate having bad experiences at restaurants you typically like. It’s really sad, and then you have to find a new place to go! I am happy that the self-serve frozen yogurt trend is expanding! There are TONS of them in California (most nonfat with SOME no sugar added flavors), and when I’m on vacation, I get really excited to see it in a place that I wouldn’t have expected to have a froyo shop. After so many visits, I’m sure you’ll start to come up with new combinations of flavors and toppings.
Yea the trend is totally arriving here finally!! The place near my house actually switches flavors monthly too so I look forward to that!
i have a problem with dark circles under my eyes too although mine came from lack on sleep xP but i can’t do anything about them until i’m legal lol…

That is pretty cool about that eye concealer! Though you must do a really good job of hiding those circles under your eyes, because I could never tell!! Haha
I agree about the Sin potion too… I use it sometimes as highlighter, but it’s too dark to use as primer imo because it screws up your eyeshadow! Oh well~
& I am the exact same way when it comes to going shopping & not wearing clothes that are tricky to get in & out of, lol! It’s too bad they didn’t have many of the fall clothes out when you went, I was looking forward to see what you had picked out!

wowww, like you, i have fugly dark circles under my eyes too, darn genetics. i’ve been using this clinique eye cream…but it reduces the puffiness, not the dark circles :[ if that boscia stuff worked for you, maybe it’ll work for me too!
Wow, I can’t believe that it’s working so well for your dark circles. Maybe I should get them for my mom since she has really bad dark circles and her Shiseido cream aren’t very effective in my opinion.

I didn’t want to see 500 days of summer but it does sound interesting to see how women can be just as cruel. Men get such a bad rap, but women are just as bad. Love both your outfits in the picture. i haven’t worn overalls in forever! I didn’t know they could be so cute.
I don’t really have much of a dark circle problem….my dark circles are actually really light. I have more of a problem with eye bags and fine lines under my eye. D:

Currently I use the garnier roll, but it makes the space under my eyes too flat and unattractive.

We have a self-serve frozen yogurt place here as well called “yogurtland”. Not sure if it’s non-fat, but the place is always packed. I’ve only gone there once, and I didn’t really like it. Guess I’m not a frozen yogurt type of person ^^
I have dark circles under my eyes as well (mostly from poor sleep). You can’t really tell when I’m wearing my glasses, which I guess is a good thing.
Yea Mike isn’t a fan of the stuff either so it’s just me eating it when we’re there :(

I thought the movie was great I didn’t like the ending though, I would have muched prefered him becoming some great architect instead.

I always wonder where did you get your bath powders? Because I love taking bath, I used to be able to get some onsen powder at the local Japanese store, but since they gone out of business, I don’t even know where I can get them. I especially want to try that 爆汗湯…. Please let me know the link if you got it online…. Love your new shoes btw…
