Happy Easter!

I took this today outside my house! 
Lovely cherry blossoms! 
We’ve already eaten Easter dinner. Had lamb, carrots, potatoes, and english muffins 
. Yesterday I went to see the cherry blossoms down by the Tidal Basin. It was pretty disappointing. 
It was cold with really dark gray skies!!! Of course the sun came out RIGHT when I arrived home! 
So instead I just spent the rest of the day out and about running a few errands.
I would have gotten one but sadly the breads here are cute but taste very bland 
Went to the Japanese bookstore and picked up Vivi. Now that winter’s over I’m back to liking the latest issues. 
Though I’m having some troubles getting away from wearing black! HAAHAA! What’s happened to me!? 
I also picked up a gold glitter eyeliner 
there! :sparkleup:
It’s Koji’s モテ瞳Sister gold glitter liner. I actually already have the ウル瞳Sister silver liner that I got from YesStyle. I really loved the silver liner I got from them. It stays put all day and you can easily build it up to as thick as you like with no flaking away.
It comes out in a thin to thick brush tip compared to most glitter liners that are only thin tips so it’s easy to build up to a nice, thick line. :!:
I also never notice any of the glitter flaking off throughout the day.
It stays fresh looking for a long time! It’s also has intense sparkle compared to other glitter liners I have such as Urban Decay’s. 
Apparently it says you can use the glitter on your eyelashes too? Haven’t tried that yet.
Probably won’t, haha~ 
The package on the left are velcro-like textured squares you use to hold your hair away from your eyes so you can do your makeup. :good: It’s better than using clips or bobby pins because it won’t leave impressions or screw up your perfectly quaffed hair, LOOOOL!

I picked up some spiking hair gel this weekend for my bangs mostly. I hate how stringy they get, nothing really holds them all day. I ended up buying this tacky gel I used to use religiously when I had super short hair! It’s Got2B “Glued.”
I’m hoping to use it to keep my bangs from blowing all over the place or at the very least, swept to 1 side! I don’t know why I waited so long to try it again I gave it a try Saturday and it kept my bangs side-swept all day.
OK, that’s it for now~ Hopefully I can get caught up on everyone’s blog lives tomorrow night! I’m not feeling so great right now. Stomach really, really hurts. I’m going to go eat some chicken soup and crackers.

I love the idea of those hair “pins” - my hair never stays in place with bobby pins - and I forget how many I put in so I find like a bajillion random pins in my hair a day later haha

I can’t stop myself from wearing black either, haha! & it was SO WARM this weekend too~ I’m sad to hear it was cold when you went down to the basin ;(
Those velcro strips look interesting~ I usually do my make first & hair last, but that might actually work, haha! & thanks for the tip on the Got2B stuff… I usually just spray some hairspray on my palm and use my fingertips on my other hand to work it onto the ends of my bangs to keep the strands in place when I do side-swept style. It works pretty well too!
Hum~ does just using your fingers with hair spray work better than full on hairspraying them? When I hairspray mine they still get greasy and stringy after a few hours. I’ll give it a try! I have very thin bangs which I think is my problem :(
Hairspray on hands smooths the hair better and lessens chance of any flyaways

not like appearance matters when your stomach hurts lol but a trick i learned with bangs (if they get too piecy and seperated throughout the day) is not to moisturize your forehead. it works wonders for me now! and of course don’t condition your bangs either. i don’t know if this is even a concern of yours lol… the greasy piecy…bangs
I’m gonna give this a try. I do use moisturizer. I’ll try to see if it makes a difference not using it on my forehead in the mornings. Hopefully just using it at night will be enough to keep my forehead skin happy. I doooo get oily. I use blotting sheets in the afternoon to dry up a lot of it. Damn combination skin type! Haahaa dry but oily is so frustrating. I have thin, fine hair so yea, they get greasy & stringy super easily t_t
that red scarf hair bow is so cuuuteee ~~~ lately ive been really loving that style, but now my hair is too long for that style to look cute TT__TT it looks so cute on short bobs ~ so adorable and you pull it off so well ! adorable x3

Wow~~ The cherry blossoms look so beautiful~ We used to have cherry blossom trees in my backyard in Sweden..my mom has been wanting to plant one but she is lazy haha~

Yea same here *they stick* I just have such a massive forehead I’m worried no bangs would look bad. Like “The Mask” bad! Haahaaa! Haven’t gotten the courage to grow them out :(

aahhh i love the glitter eyeliner!! my friend previously bought some but it was so difficult to apply!! it kept on clumping together :( ohoh i was in the city with a few of my friends yesterday and i saw so many eyelashes that were in popteen.. i was actually quite surprised hahahah

I got the hair velcro thingy too. But mine is in red polka dot bow (like Minnie Mouse’s bow). But it doesn’t hold my hair very well, probably because my hair is so thick and stiff!

Yea I think it depends on the gel. I tried many types before going back to this “glue” type which has a strong hold but doesn’t look crunchy when in your hair.

easter is a nice holiday. we celebrate holy week here. but in some places in spain we sell chocolate bunnies this week,not in my city =/ that’s a pity.
Ah yes, Holy Week! I only celebrate that in church, it’s not so big outside of church here. Mostly choco bunnies here, LOL!

Extremely easy with the triple barrel iron. BUT! If you’re looking to just do those 3 simple big waves and you already have a curling iron it wouldn’t take too much time to do it with that. Here’s a tutorial…
