Well not really because tomorrow’s Monday, boo boo boo :kanjicry:
I’m currently copying all my old CDs from my High School days into iTunes~ I had forgotten some of the seriously random stuff I had! Been a fun time warp~ :okicon:

I got a cute little surprise from Sara Mari this weekend! She sent me some adorable cell phone charms AND a Re-Ment set!! I loooooove Re-Ment! Remember when I used to buy it all the time? I miss those days :D
And the stationery is Nyago! Only my most favorite Sanrio character of all time! :rose1:
Friday I went and did a bit of shopping~ hanging out~ eating~ so on. Wore my Shu Uemura égérie False Eyelashes! Finally have some pics to share of them.
They’re definitely not a “beginner level” lash set! Wow. :exclaimit: A bit time consuming to put on, and the thick band feels a bit heavy, but they’re so gorgeous. You just feel… I dunno, PRETTY when wearing them!

I like that her eyeliner band extends further but it can’t be helped. My eyes are just much wider so the band isn’t quite as dramatic, LULZ~ :blushingcute:

Something sorta bizarre and aggravating happened to me this past week that is still slightly bothering me. :madmark:
I’m sure I’ll forget it completely in a week’s time but I thought I’d share the rant.
Last week I was walking to an office building. After I crossed the street I suddenly heard a man whistle that cat call whistle. UGH, I hates it. You know, THAT whistle! The whistle only meant to let women know they look good. It’s happened before to me in that area so whatever. OK, WHATEVER, I KEPT WALKING. But…. He kept doing it!! Over and over, elongated and everything! :ackface: Probably for about 15 seconds total (that’s a long time if you think about it) and it was following me. So I quickly glanced back and sure enough he was right behind me staring me down! So as I walked into the building I looked at him and flipped him off! Get a clue jerk! Well, that ass followed me into the building!!!! He started yelling at me that I shouldn’t have been offended!!!!! I told him, whatever. Then he started making some crap up about that he wasn’t even whistling at me and that he saw “his friend” in a car on the road…?! OH PLEASE. Bullshit much. Even if it were true (highly unlikely) lesson learned you can’t use THAT WHISTLE around women without accepting the consequences… dick. He was just making shit up because I called him out on being a pig!
It enrages me because this scenario is why women take so much shit! It’s why when our butts are grazed by a hand on the subway we tell ourselves it “was an accident” because god forbid we accuse a man and he tell us we’re lying or mistaken! :madmark: You know I let some guy get away with touching my ass on the train because I was SO CONVINCED it was an accident… until he did it again on a different day!!!!!!!! :ackface:
So yea, I’ll continue to flip off any douche who I even slightly suspect is disrespecting me. Deal with it.

as for that guy… i hope you have pepper spray. we have all been through things like that. suddenly men become inhuman and kind of terrifyingly aggressive. how strange that he followed you to try and redeem himself??? and in the process try and make you feel stupid! good for you for not falling for that shit and never hesitating to flip them off.
i don’t get it. there is a book called “bad men do what good men dream” and it explains flashers etc… and how they do it to kind of prove to the world that they are masculine or sexual because the world doesn’t see them that way without some crazy stunt (which still doesn’t prove shit, but in their minds i guess). i think catcalling and all that is in the same vein. if its to the woman or their friends, its a seriously disgusting fucking retarted way to degrade women and feel better about their own fleeting masculinity.
makes me enraged what women have to go through. i mean i’m getting of topic but all of it, all the degradation and dehumanizing of women makes me so fucking mad. how a man can look at a woman as a tool to feel masculine when she is a beautiful person full of depth and experiences and so much life… suddenly she’s an object.

Those Shu Uemura lashes are so luxurious looking. Hah~ Does that even make sense??? They just look gorgeous on you! I love them!!! It’s so dramatic ~ I wish I had more skills to put them on. I feel so fumbly and clumsy when trying to put them on. What kind of lash glue do you use? I’m thinking of investing in ones that have the applicators cause I find it hard to accurately apply the right amount of lash glue all the time ~____~
I too love some of Zara’s things but they are kinda over priced! I saw this floral one piece i wanted but didn’t really think it’s worth $60… sigh* but Ihaven’t been able to find something like that anywhere else :(
seriously i hate people like that. whistling and etc. is like the cheesiest and dirtiest thing. they think girls should take those as compliments that someone thinks they’re pretty but I think it’s so degrading!

i recently ordered some lashes online and the first time i wore them whole i was like ‘WTF TOO MUCH’ so i cut them in half (they were cheapies from ebay, no guilt~) and have been wearing them like accent lashes…but omg, you wearing those awesome shu uemura lashes make me want to go screw it~~~ i’ll wear them full and huuuuuge! even if i am only putting makeup on to go to class..teehee
glad you did something to that guy~~ whenever i think some guy is doing something like that to me, i just ignore him and act like he doesn’t exist!! i’ve never had anything physical happen, but it makes me shudder to think about it…urrg

Ok, there is one thing good about being a fat chick -men don’t even know you exist. I’ve never once had any experiences like the ones you describe, and so I thought that it was usual that women didn’t suffer like that. Obviously that is not the case. Men just feel this entitlement that they growing knowing is their birth-right (because of their gender). I am so sorry to hear you had to deal with that, I really wish I could go down there and punch those guys in the groin! It’s been years since I last punched a groin.

I occasionally get those cat calls too, and it makes me SICK. Saying things like “I love your hair!” or something is flattering. Being treated like a object is NOT. Some men need to get that through their heads. Some things are just not acceptable. More power to you for putting him in his place. No woman should have to be treated like the guilty ones.
And I too love exaggerated blush. If I had more defined cheekbones, I’d do it too, but I have a very round face. To make up for it, I try to stand out with my clothes instead.

OMG those lashes are so fantastic that it looks like you can just fly away if the wind blew you in the right direction! I actually think you look better than Chinatsu with those lashes. So gorgeous! I’ve been looking for a fedora-ish hat and can’t find it anywhere :( F21 in Canada isn’t comparable to the States. and omgosh at the whistle incident.. because coincidentally it happened to me tonight when i was going home… i was crossing the road and all of a sudden i hear that whistle…. i was the only one crossing the road so i turned around and it came from a guy driving a sports car.. ugh.. made me feel so uncomfortable…. i reallyyy dont get anything like that often so basically it just freaked me out all the way home.. lucky i didnt have to walk very far (my house is about 5 minutes from train station)

i disagree slightly about the “annoying men” thing. i mean, i totally understand where you come from… and they ARE jerks for wanting to get in our pants and everything, but u have to understand that…
if you dress beautifully (and u look lovely just naturally also), then u will draw ppl’s attentions. if even girls love the way u dress, think about how men do. when us girls dress to impress (or even if it’s just dressing up being we like it ourselves), you also have to accept the concequences. it’s partially our fault that we do what we must to look gorgeous instead of a bum.
and men are weird. so that’s their way of complimenting you. unless they really try to rape/kidnap me, i have no problem with it.
trust me, you shouldn’t be angry. just don’t like flirt back or make him think ur interested. i know this because i’m a model in asia, and i always have to make sure i don’t look like a hobo when i’m downtown. and asia being a man-dominant country, i always get whisltes, comments, or whatever, but i take it as a compliment. i take it that i can attract attention, which is my job.

i once had a scary experience when I was in high school. This guy was sharing a seat with me and he kept squezzing and moving closer and closer to me! I was so freaked out and I didn’t dare to move out of the seat because i will have to get pass him! and I was so afraid he will touch my butt! But he didn’t in the end.
ok. on to happy stuffs. You look different with those lashes! they must be very dramatic! prettyyyy!! I am quite a Zara fan. But I do find their clothes pricey. However, I think their quality is pretty good! Love the hat too! I’m looking for one to wear to bali.
